Rey Mysterio, Rhyno, Tajiri and Mark Henry will join Jazz in returning to action in the next few weeks. January could be a big month for returning WWE Superstars if all continues to go well. Soon after this group returns to action, we should also see the return of Randy Orton to in-ring competition. Randy's updates on his shoulder surgery have been very entertaining aspects of RAW over the past few weeks.
I visited with Kevin Nash in Orlando recently, and he looked really good. His rehab is going well for his torn quadriceps muscle (thigh muscle), but I still do not expect him back for a couple more months, or closer to WrestleMania time. I might be a little conservative on this estimate, but we should err on the side of caution with this serious of an injury. It will be interesting to see what the veteran has left in his tank when he returns from this latest setback. I wouldn't count him out.
I am told the Undertaker is healing well from a variety of ailments and that the rest he has been able to get over the past few months has really helped him. I am not sure when we officially see 'Taker again in the ring but I personally can't imagine having a Royal Rumble without him.

"Nice interaction on RAW between Rob Van Dam and Kane this week. I am anxious to see where this is headed. I would love it if both these athletes had breakout years in 2003. There is no reason I am aware of that should prevent this from happening."
I can't tHHHink of any reason eitHHHer...
Seriously, they worked pretty well as a team on Monday's Raw, this could at least be entertaining...

Ever notice what the acronym for "Hungry Hungry Hippos" is? There's a reason he didn't go with "Chutes and Ladders..."

I'm guessing the Diesel moment will go to either A-Train or to Batista. Or, maybe both, since there are two rosters. And then when they're done, they can knock each other out.
I, for one, am looking forward to the Undertaker coming back. I'm still a big fan of his, and I still think he can go in the ring. As for Mark Henry, I'm apathetic. And as for Nash, well, I guess not everything can go my way.
But the return I'm looking forward to the most is that of Rhyno. I kinda miss the little guy. Wow, just a year and a half or two years ago, I never would have thought I'd say that.
I too was wondering when Kanyon's return was, I thought it would be soon. Can you imagine how great it would've been to have Kanyon and Rhyno return as Team Angle instead of Haas/Benjamin.
I believe Kanyon is in OVW as we speak, getting back in ring shape. He should be back shortly after the new year.
Matthew: You would've loved it, David. A week in a foreign country, strange people, strange customs... Dave: Oh, I know what you mean. I've been to Canada.

I believe they're saving Rhyno's return as a surprise. I'm betting the house that Heyman has Rhyno run in for the title match at the Royal Rumble to set up a Benoit/Rhyno feud for No Way Out.
I'll see YOU at Wrestlemania X-9! Hey, Rocky! You're Next!
Originally posted by The Great Thomas Pardon my ignorance once again, but where'd the term "bowling-shoe ugly" come from?
"Bowling-shoe ugly" is the phrase Ross usually uses on those rare occasions when he admits that a match sucked. Hence, it's passed into common currency.
Rhyno in the SD title scene? I know Heyman is big on him, but I can't see him jumping straight into the Benoit/Angle/Lesnar triangle. He'd be a good feud for Edge if he comes back as a heel -- Spear vs. Gore, Mark II.

Boston is after all "A TRAIN" ride from where he grew up... right at the end of the Orange Line. His dad is still a cop in the town where I'm currently hanging my hat.
So he gets the Diesel push and the hometown boy crap. If he doesn't get over on 1/19 it will never f'n happen. My guess: It'll never f'n happen.
But remember, IWC, he's just a pawn in all this. He didn't ask to get pushed above Mattitude. Some men are born with huge unwieldy pusHHHes, and some have these pushes droppped in their laps.
Taking a tip from MoeGates, I find that I am Rex Banner, Ty Pennington, Dr. Scott, Berlin-era Bowie, a Snake Print Doc Marten, Jim Morrison, Butch Coolidge, Robocop, Regis Philbin, an Emotional Drunk, Lincoln, Kermit and Ghetto Fabulous. Of course.
Jim Ross visited Kevin Nash at his home! I could just imagine, Kevin Nash laying on his couch (and in his own filth) watching TV, beer in one hand and a huge bag of chips on his stomach, he lifts his head and looks out the window and he sees a big black cowboy hat walking up his front yard "Oh crap!" Nash says. He proceeds to shove and hide all has empty beer cans, porno rags and economy size potatoe chip bags under his couch.
DingDong goes the doorbell, "One Second!" yells Nash. He runs (actually Nash never runs he kind of waddles) to the closet door connected to his living room and pulls out his Nordicflex workout unit. Takes the sleeve of his sweatshirt and tries to remove as much of the cobwebs and dust that's been build up on the Nordicflex since he last used it and pulls it 6 feet to the middle of the living room.
Nash finally waddles to the door and opens it totally out of breath "Jim Ross *huff huff* what a surprise". Jim Ross looks at a sweating Nash and the Nordicflex behind him, "Have you been getting into shape?" Nash response doubled over and exhausted "I can honestly say I just had the hardest workout I've had in years". JR's happy "That's great, your rehab seems to be going so well. I'll write it up on my Ross Report this Friday."
(edited by Net Hack Slasher on 28.12.02 0204) Oh they have the internet on computers now!
I am looking forward to the Rhyno return, and I can see him joining team angle in protecting Kurt. I am looking forward to Randy Orton coming back to, it'll be nice to have another great undercard heel (maybe hold on that to see if his ring work is up to par after the injury) to join Chris Nowinski. Kanyon will add some good matches, and maybe we can turn it to the smackdown 7 (if they do TE 4 I would not be surprised of Kanyon being an instructor, I think him and Al Snow would have great chemistry). I think taker will come back for one more run, and it'll be interesting to see if they make it 11 straight at mania. Nash can stay injured for all I care, though I think he too may be putting in his last run.
Thank you Lord....for giving me the strength....to beat the crap out of that man and damn near kill him with my bare hands! -David Alan Grier discussing post boxing match interviews
Has anyone else noticed that ever since the RNN updates started gaining some momentum, almost to the point that people looked forward to them on Raw, they were dropped? How long has it been since the last one. Sometimes I think those clowns are trying to fail.
Here's another part of the Ross Report that some of you might have skipped over:
"I see Booker T, Chris Jericho, Rob Van Dam, and many other young studs having a break-out year. I see these guys definitley tearing it up on Sunday Night Heat. I also see a good 2003 for guys like Batista, Albert, Kane, and Big Show. All should be World Champions before the year's end because they're HOSSES! HOSSES GOD-DAMMIT, HOSSES!!!!!!! A Triple H v. Kevin Nash v. Shawn Michaels match should be exciting for WrestleMania, as Undertaker, Big Show, and Albert fill up a great upper-mid-card. What a show, and what a year it will be.

Don't ya' love the genius that is the WWE?
Is this real? I don't actually READ the Ross Report, I get the gist of it from 411. Shit I hope that's fake, cause thats just not good at all... How can the Undertaker by in the upper-mid card when they can put him up against Albert/A-Train and have them coheadline WM :p)
So where do we go from here? As predicted by oh so many, HHH won the Rumble. As hoped for by just as many, Jericho won!! But the subject of who will be in the main event at WM is pretty much discussed till death by all.. So..
