From The Torch:

Triple H (Paul Levesque) met with Dr. Andrews on Tuesday, and was diagnosed with a partially torn right quadriceps muscle. Triple H tore his left quadriceps in May 2001, and was out of action for almost eight months as a result. In addition, Dr. Andrews found a massive hematoma in the outside of Triple H's right quadriceps.

Triple H told the website he believes the injury took place during his match with Jeff Hardy on last week's episode of Raw, and that he originally thought it was a charley horse. The injury was somehow aggravated during his match at the WWE's house show in Ft. Myers, Florida on Saturday. Triple H worked his match with Shawn Michaels on Saturday after receiving an anti-inflammatory drug. His right thigh was heavily taped and Triple H admitted that he was in a great deal of pain during the match.

Triple H will attempt to treat the injury through rest and rehabilitation over the next two to three weeks. According to the website, the injury may require surgery if the treatment is not successful.

Dr. Andrews can just dump his athletes in all the other sports, Vince's guys are going down so often he can make a fortune just off of them.
If I'm Austin right now, I stay out as long as possible. Each day it appears more likely that Trip is going to need surgery, the more money he can extract from Vince to return, because since Trip is the only star on RAW (Vince's view that we've seen for a year), Austin can get back the money he lost for walking out and look like a genius.

I want you to know, I agree with everything I've just said.

I wonder if NOW HHH will get the idea to lay off the steroids. I mean, tearing BOTH quads in a year and a half? That should be a wake-up call.

I think ditto goes for Rock, too.

Wonder why HHH keeps tearing them so easily? Is it because he's carrying around all that muscle mass?

Horrible.

I don't think trips will get the message unless Andrews tells him to knock it off. It sounds like he's got three weeks to get it healed, or he's getting a second extended vacation in three years.

It seems like, in many cases, that guys who like being insanely big just like being insanely big, and really don't care about the injuries. I mean, they have to notice the decrease in mobility, if nothing else, yet I don't see anybody dropping mass. Some people just like having insanely big muscles, I guess.

You know, Kurt Angle once tore his quad and still showed up for RAW the same day.

But Angle's a in great athletic shape since he's an olympic class athlete,in wrestling in which you must be extra careful for injuries(I know,I'm an amatuer wrestler) and thus he's well much more ready for them...

I feel rather sorry for HHH,i hope he starts laying off the roids...

Yeah, Kurt Angle tears his quad all the time, I bet he tore it before, during and after his matchup with the Big Show, and again on Monday while working out, and probably tore both of the during the Smackdown tapings last night.

The guy was pretty big before he added on the extra 20-30 pounds. I guess he's overcompensating for something else.

Hey, what's another 2-3 weeks of the champion not wrestling on Raw...

Eh, torn quadricep, big deal. I tore my quadricep five minutes ago, and look, I'm fine!

Damn you, Tom, for beating me to the Kurt Angle joke. LOL...

AS RAW become more and more like Nitro. With all the cripples in the main event scene on RAW (HHH, Steiner, HBK), perhaps Piper will be making a RAW comeback soon.

Human growth hormone adds mass to the muscle and bone structure very quickly but the tendons and ligaments that hold that muscle and bone together do not grow at the same drug-induced rate. Pretty soon, there's too much strain on the tendons and ligaments and PLOP - the muscle rips away from the strings holding it in place.

If you abuse HGH, you get a lot of torn muscles, mainly in bigger, heavier muscle groups....like quadriceps.

Don't fret, my friend...I GUARANTEE you that Steiner won't be the next WWE Champion =)

Sorry, I was actually referring to Redsoxnation's quote about how Austin should hold out as long as possible. Got a little lazy and didn't quote. I don't know if Rock is on the gas or not, he's certainly buff, but not on the order of HHH.
