Hahahaha... look at the Lakers now. They started the season talking so much shit, saying they were gonna win 70 games... hell, saying they were going to beat the Bull's record of seventy-two wins.

Now, look at 'em. Look at 'em. They're pathetic. What? They make me sick. What? LOL...

Nah, 29-12 is hardly pathetic in anyone's estimation. But they're still a full three games behind the Kings. And with one more loss, they'll be mathematically incapable of having a 70-win season.

Serves 'em right, the smug bastards.

Yeah, i never believed any of that crap not even the Shaq/Kobe combo can't win 70 games in one season by themselves.

It's funny... you would think, in theory, that the Shaq/Kobe combo would be at least as good as MJ/Pippen/Rodman.

Difference is that the Bulls had role players that were constantly stepping up. And that when one of their stars was injured, it didn't mean the rest of the team started losing to all the cellar-dwellers.

An interesting couple of notes about the 1995-96 Chicago Bulls, who finished a league-best-ever 72-10:

--The only team to beat the Bulls twice in that season was the Indiana Pacers.

--The most surprising loss the Bulls suffered that year was a loss to the expansion Toronto Raptors.

You're talking about regular season right? Because i'm pretty sure the Hornets beat them once in the regular season and once in the playoffs that year? I could be wrong though.

And who could forget Van Gundy's first win came when the Knicks blew out the Bulls one Saturday on NBC. God I hated that team. Oh yeah, the Lakers are still winning the title.

Laugh all you want at the 70 wins prediction, I dont care what sorry teams got victories over them either.
Because in the end, none of these teams can beat THE LAKERS in best of 5 or 7 series.

I hate to say it, but I agree with Frosty.

(Still bitter about the Pacers/LaKers series)

Can't play in a best of 5 series cause they won't meet in the first round.

Air Force was surprisingly white. Combine that with their passing/back door attack and I thought I was watching an old Princeton game. -Jag Intentional foul?!?! BULLSHIT! I hate Vanderbilt now.
