This is probably the most bizarre and amazing double play I've ever seen. Call it Manny being Manny, but this was an awesome play!

Yeah, the Sox lost, but when are you ever gonna see someone make an over-the-shoulder catch, jump into the crowd, high five a fan, and double up a guy at 1st again in your life?

I saw this this morning on SportsCenter with some of the other M being M highlights of his career. I had completely forgotten about how he 'cut off the cut off' a few years ago when (I think) Johnny Damon's throw was coming in. That was the greatest thing I've ever seen. I mean, he *dove* for that ball!

More interesting is Neyer's comment on that ESPN page: I would say this is probably the most likely scenario. Ankiel must have a real fear of pitching or seriously doubt his ability to pitch anymore to make this move.
