So, I finally bought a 15" 1GHz PowerBook. The last computer I bought was the 266MHz Beige G3 Desktop back in January, 1998 - which still runs under OS 9.2.2 because it can't figure out how to get OS X on the internal drive. Turns out that Tiger ISN'T installed, but they opened up the box, put an upgrade DVD in and taped it back up.

So...now I'm parked on a couch instead of sitting in the spare bedroom. FREEDOM

Now all I gotta figure out is how to get all the music off of the old Mac AND the spare PC and onto here - and also onto the iPod photo my wife seems to have bought me. WHEE

Who knew that crossover cable would EVER come in handy? Surely not me...of course, I haven't gotten that far yet, so we'll see.

I think the REAL point of this post was to see a "15" before I switched animated GIFs again. Yep!

I have a program on my powerbook called "OurTunes" that allows you to download to your computer any music in the iTunes folder of any other computer on your wireless network. It's simple and very fast, and it's a small program too.

I couldn't get OurTunes to work correctly for me, so another option is MyTunes Redux, which can be downloaded here (minimalverbosity.com) .

EDIT: I just noticed that MyTunes is PC only, so thats probably not going to be much help in your case. Maybe someone else will find it useful though.

I haven't put one of these up in forever, mostly because by the time I notice we had any, it's long gone, BUT a mere half hour ago we tracked a search from WWE offices for... wait for it... Juventud Guerrera!
