Lastest report is David Ragan is going to ditch the 51 (which was switching to Ford and would've been part-time) to drive the Shell/Pennzoil #22 in 2012.
Just a reminder kids...forgetting everyone around you has a phone with a camera in it could be hazardous to your continued employment. Still, it's crazy to believe that one of only six active full-time drivers who have won a Sprint Cup title and a guy with a ten-year streak of winning at the Cup level basically got fired for being an asshole.

Based on the fact that he has now burned his bridges with two of the superpower teams (Rousch and Penske) and that many other teams are cutting down on their budgets, I don't think it's likely he'll be driving in a championship caliber team for this year, at least. He'll regret being such a jackass to his crew this year.

Not only that, but Gibbs and Hendrick have each had their deals with Kyle, so it's not like they are going to hire Kurt, and Richard Childress got into a fight with Kyle last year, so I think it is safe to assume that he won't be driving for any of them pretty soon.
One intriguing (possible) landing spot? Stewart-Haas, driving the #10 on the weekends that Danica isn't in there. Otherwise if he wasn't to compete the only two teams left are Michael Waltrip Racing (who just went to three teams again) and Earnhardt Ganassi (who don't seem fit to expand).
Best possible scenario (that will never happen)? Gibbs buys out Kyle, Kyle and Kurt buy Red Bull and then we'll never be rid of them.

They did for a while after Kyle caused them both to wreck in the All-Star Race a couple of years ago, but I know they famously mended fences and AFAIK they are still on good terms. Not that I think they get along well enough to go into business together, but that would be kind of fun it they did.
