Bill Moyers should move out here to California if he wants to see what the Democratic party has done to this state. This place is a mess, thanks to Governor Gray Davis (D) and his "raise taxes through the roof" cabinet.

Oh God yeah... and I can't wait to see my taxes after the Family Medical Leave Act goes into effect... California is a complete and total mess right now, and things are only looking worse... Oh, and "Best Man for the Job?" That idea was murdered years ago. Now it is "If you do not vote for one of the two major parties, you are wasting your vote." God, I hate the 2 party system....

Well- my ass still hurts, but lets see what happens this week...
Don't take this as a flame, because it's not personal, but this whole "best man for the job" is masturbatory at best. The Democrats, the Republicans, the Greens, the Libertarians and everyone else are equally adept at being governors. The issue here is not who can govern well, but what your concept of government is. My concept of government is very limited, so I vote Republican or Libertarian. Others have a different concept of government, and enjoy the welfare state along with confiscatory taxes (yes, that was a cheap dig), so they vote Democrat. "Governing" is not a real objective thing, is my point. So, yeah, it is about competing ideologies.

How about this one: http://people.ronpaul2008.com/endorsements/2007/12/25/sean-morley/ I can't decide if failing to remove the phrase 'hanging and banging' from the interview makes this a stronger or weaker political endorsement.
