Jeremey Irons as Alfred. Jesse Eisenberg as Lex. Irons as long as he doesn't pull a D&D will be great and I can seem being more physical than Caine. Eisenberg as Lex is a stretch. He has been great in almost everything he has been in.
The Wee Baby Sheamus.Twitter: @realjoecarfley its a bit more toned down there. A bit.
True, but I thought Heath Ledger was odd casting. I think Eisenberg is bad casting, or even mis casting. Jeremy Irons can do no wrong as far as I'm concerned, so no problem there, but they really needed a solid character actor for Lex.
Eisenberg is definitely an odd choice for the Lex Luthor that we've all known in the past but if they are going for Lex Luthor in the year 2014 then Eisenberg is what a self-made billionaire in today's age looks like.

They're going to have Lex Luthor the creator of Facebook.

I know you're just basing that on Eisenberg's past roles, but that actually makes a bit of sense. Lois pesters Clark into making a profile on "facebook". Lex has some facial recognition software which pegs Clark as Superman. Superman then has to go after Lex to keep his identity private. Superman can badger Lex about spying on everyone, and Lex can play the 'its not private if they tell me willingly' card. Somehow, Lex loses his hair. Batman laughs at Superman since he wears a proper mask. Fin.
I know Lex is Superman's eternal rival and all, but could we get Darkseid or Doomsday in the live action films already? Lex v. Clark has been done to death and it gets less interesting with each new actor playing same old Luthor.
Even with Eisenberg the pathos is still "Bald billionaire obsessed with exposing Superman".
