I'm still trying to figure out how anything in this forum can be off-topic. After all, doesn't the name "Random" imply that anything goes here?

Anyway, I've been using mine anywhere I can for the past three years. When I had a show on the campus radio station, my name there was "Dr. Jay, Ph.D." It's a takeoff on the Beastie Boys song "Dr. Lee, Ph.D".

Teapot: I was on the math team in 7th grade... does that count? (Of course, I've gone on to completely reject any academic competition... hell, I'm surprised I even admitted I was on a team once.)

Well, I "randomly" put it in the Wrestling column, and then, like magic, it appeared here in the "Random" section, where I should've placed it in the first place. :)

I've been using the online name of 'Cerebus' for almost 20 years now. Before anyone decides to tell me it's not possible, the net hasn't been around that long or something to that effect, let me add that I used to have a commie64 with a very ancient Noakes 300 baud modem that I used to call local BBSes down here in Florida. Most everyone tells me that I was more then likely the first 'CEREBUS' in Florida.

My first name was 'Uncle Scrooge' and I used to kick ass at TRADE WARS. I miss the good old days...

DDP: Well, there's this little passage I got memorized, Diamond Dallas 25:17. Sort of fits this occasion:

"The path of the bookerman is beset on all sides by the inequities of the talented, and the tyranny of workrate freaks. Blessed is he, who in the name of tradition and sports entertainment carries the stiffs through the matches of Nitro, for he is truly the workrate's keeper, and the finder of lost quality. And I will lay the smack down upon thee with great vengeance and furious roid rage those who attempt to outwrestle and expose my brothers. And you will know my name as the Bookerman, when I lay my catchphrase upon thee!"

DDP & Kevin: *BANG!* *BANG!* *BANG!* *BANG!* *BANG!* *BANG!* *BANG!* *BANG!* *BANG!* *BANG!* *BANG!* *BANG!*

Interesting!
If I'm not mistaken, isn't the mythological beast named "Cerberus" and "Cerebus" is the name of a comic book about a warrior Aardvark made by Eastman and Laird of TMNT fame?
Are you supposed to be the Aardvark or a mispelled mythological beast? ;-)

You are mistaken - about one thing, at least. Cerebus is Dave Sim and Gerhard, not Eastman/Laird. Similar styles, though. :)

I got mine from one of the greatest movies of all time.

Plus the options can stay open for meaning something else like:

Now Exploring Omnism
Not Even Over
Never Eat Onions
Not Enough Options

for awhile here it was like Never Expect Opinions. But now it's more like Need Extra One-liners.

What movie? I must've never seen it. The only movie I can think of with a character named Neo was "The Matrix".

Sorry, just me being a dick. Everyone else liked that movie, I know.

"Of course the people don't want war ...but, after all, it is the leaders of the country who determine the policy, and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament or a communist dictatorship ... voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is to tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger."

Cerebus the aardvark actually, and it isn't Julie Strains Husband & Laird; it's a canadian named Dave Sim. I'd met Dave Sim up in New York at a comic convention and he was trying to shop the book around. It had great promise and I liked it a lot, so I stole the name from him. He wasn't able to get a company to put out the book, so he did it himself. One of the great independant publishing storys. Good for Dave!

Read his book, it's almost done with now, he's ending it with issue #300 if I remember right, and not due to poor sales but because that was his plan all along, he's had the story mapped out since day one.

...oops, Guess I should hav read the rest of the posts before replying. Ah well!

I don't remember that, but the TMNT did crossover with Usagi Yojimbo a few times. Yet another excelent comic people should check out.

I dug it. I'd have liked a little more closure, but I was satisfied.
