| #1 Posted on 24.3.02 1603.39 | It was suggested in the Dangerous Alliance thread that we shouldn't be re-treading old stables, but looking for new, exciting ones that could exist within the WWF as it is now (although, admittedly, with the split happening soon, those possibilities will be limited by which show people end up trapped on). Still, a few preliminary ideas never hurt. So, I'll toss out a few of my own (and no, the Canadian Horsemen don't count as a new idea. Everyone's been tossing that one around for ages, even if it's never really existed on TV).
Here are a few of my ideas:
The Clan -
A martial arts stable which could work as face or heel depending on the situation. Guys who like to kick ass. Team members:
RVD - Charismatic leader, represents a pure Zen attitude of letting the world do what it will and just taking care of yourself. Plus, an easy main-eventer ready to be tapped.
Steve Blackman - Um...duh.
Ken Shamrock - He and Blackman could team if they brought Shamrock back and they could dismantle people a la the Miracle Violence Connection.
Kaientai - Just to give them something to do.
Al Snow has some martial arts background, but his character just doesn't fit. X-Pac would be great, but he's obviously completely nWo-ified right now. Plus, he'd probably never do it unless he was the leader.
Anyway, that's the first one I thought of, just off the top of my head. Any others?

| #2 Posted on 24.3.02 1709.22 | Instead of the Clan, which would get people thinking more of white sheets and cross-burning, how about a Kung-Fu movie sounding name like "The Righteous Harmonious Fists"?
For my own stable idea:
Name: The Legend Killers Manager: Paul E. Dangerously Leader: Curt Hennig Enforcer: "Crippler" Chris Benoit. Strong Guy: Brock Lesnar Team: Lance Storm and Perry Saturn (unite the Impact Players and the Eliminators!) Cruiserweight: Tajiri
Play up Paul E's bitterness and his ability to "brainwash" people into being his loyal followers. REALLY play up the "Crippler" past, showing old tapes of Benoit's nast suplexes and breaking Sabu's neck. Generally show them as guys tired of never being on Monday night Raw after 10, and wanting to take this anger out on the top guys!

| #3 Posted on 24.3.02 1710.45 | When Owen and Jarrett were teaming up, I thought that they should be called Legacy since they were both second generation wrestlers. I think that could work as a stable as well. A bunch of heels who think they're owed something because of who their fathers were.
Mr. Perfect- Leader/mentor to the younger members
Sean Stasiak- son of a former WWF champion. Put him in a tag team with...
Randy Orton- Third generation wrestler, son of "Cowboy" Bob Orton, Jr.
Chavo Guerrero, Jr.- Also 3rd gen, cruiser for the group. And if the rumors are true...
Eddy Guerrero- Rumored to be coming back. IC Title contender.
Other wrestlers that would be eligible (though not necesarily fit in) are: Goldust (have to drop the gimmick), The Rock (seems more of a loner right now, unless he turns heel and takes Perfect's spot as leader), Dean Malenko (semi-retired), and any McMahon except for Linda (Highly unlikely except for Shane).

| #5 Posted on 24.3.02 1744.43 | The Stasiak/Orton team is one that could happen really soon. It wouldn't suprise me a bit to see Orton come in in the next week or two paired with either Stasiak or Ron Waterman (almost less likely than the Stasiak pairing) as a tag team led by Stacy to get revenge on the Dudleys.

| #7 Posted on 24.3.02 2026.01 | Is Rhyno ever coming back? I know it was said he planned to, but I always thought the nature of the neck problem was bad enough for him to at least consider retirement.

You're right about the Clan...bad idea, I didn't even think of that.
I actually think a gay stable would rock, if done right. But then, I like weiners, too

| #11 Posted on 26.3.02 1346.00 | Just a few random ideas I gleamed from a post I made at another forum long ago ...
I still think back in the day, they should've kept E & C together, kept Rhyno with them, then added Storm and 'enforcer' Mike Awesome to make a brutal 'Canadian Mafia' type deal ... Of course, with Test and Jericho occasionally being affiliated with the group, too ...
(though, in retrospect, the Awesome thing is hard to do, because not everyone knew about his 'Canadian defection' in WCW, since only something like five people were watching dub-cee-dub by that point - you'd have to explain Rhyno's defection from "Detroit" to Canada, too) ...
Then, in a corny but effective story, you literally could have had Angle and Undertaker end up as one of those wacky set of guys that hate each other, but have to work together (as back then, Taker was still regularly referred to by his theme music, "American Bad Ass," and Angle, of course, is the world's greatest American Olympic Hero) to defeat the Canadians.
This, of course, would lead to the Canadian's eventually brutalizing the shit out of the Undertaker and retiring him, whereas Angle would snap all Ken Shamrock-style and start taking motherfuckers out left and right ... Effectively getting a ton of young guys over - the Canadians as career killers, and Angle as a legitimate threat.
*****Shit, as it stands for tag teams, bring Sean O'Haire back and team him with Lesnar. That would be one fucking scary combination. Then let them break Lita and the Hardyz in half.*****

| #14 Posted on 26.3.02 1451.29 | This is hardly a new idea, but what about a stable of non-North American wrestlers (maybe non-USAn would be more realistic)
Regal as leader, rejoins with Tajiri for comedy and some decent hard-edged wrestling. Test as enforcer. Maybe some lucha or Japanese talent. I can dream: Keiji Muto and Kensuke Sasake, plus La Parka.
