For those that are thinking about ordering the MLB Extra Innings package on cable/satellite this season:

Check out this offer.

$20 off PLUS a free video game? Where do I sign?

Now, if they would just release the damn schedule of games I'd be very happy.

EDIT: I just noticed that the offer is for digital cable customers only.

I wish they made Advent calendars for WrestleMania, although I'd skip the Mark Henry day.

Sweet! This package is a great deal. I had it last year, and even though I didn't really get to catch that many games (we already get 140 or so Padres games on our cable system) with it, I would highly recommend getting this package.

If you are getting the package anyway (but don't want the game) you can mail it to me

I had this package like three years ago, but it wasn't as cool as I hoped since many of the teams I wanted to watch (Phillies, Friars) weren't part of the package.

Now, I go to bed way to early for this to be practical. Another time it's good for all you left coasters out there.

Actually, that's the worst part of it really. I get off work at 7, so most of the east coast games are already over by the time I get around to watching. It's not horrible, and I caught a lot of A's and Angels games that I wouldn't have... and it was cool to watch the same A's feed that CRZ was watching up in San Jose so we could talk about it...

But yeah. The time zone is a negative, I think. Much more choice of games on the east coast.

And the midwest, where games start at 8/8:30 ET and wouldn't be over until 11:15-midnight.

There are what, 8 teams out of 30 in the mountain or pacific time zones?

LA
Anaheim
SF
SD
Oak
Seattle
Colorado
Arizona

Take out the Friars, whose games when I had the package were on Channel 4 and not part of the package.

Alas, it's a US only promotion.

Nonetheless, I had Extra Innings added to my cable package today.

If nothing else, it'll be nice to watch whatever I want, whenever as opposed to those Tuesday nights when none of the networks wish to air any games.

They had a field day with this story on the ESPN morning show, including playing Whitesnake songs while discussing it. Of course, the funniest thing was hearing Kitaen called an actress.
