Subtle? It seems there are mornings where Al just calls him a goof straight out.

It's hard to remember sometimes that Cataldi ever once was a real journalist.

You're all so WONDERFUL. Why did they ever have to remove you from the continuity? You'd have made for MARVELOUS stories. You WILL make marvelous stories. And the FIRST story of the new world will be a story of REVENGE! -- The Psycho Pirate, Animal Man 23, May 1990.

Do you guys remember the old saying....If someone asked you to jump off a bridge, would you jump. I think it's ridiculous that O and A are being held responsible because some couple decided to oblige their suggestion to have sex in a weird place. These people were adults. They only people responsible for their actions are them. O and A didn't hold a gun to their head and make them have sex in a church.
Furthermore, I think Doug Tracht (he was on Fox News) had the right idea when he said that at least they were a consenting heterosexual couple having sex in the church, unlike the child molesting priests who are the ones that have really taken advantage of not only our nation's youth, but the trust of the entire community.
He also made a good point in that O and A were just doing their jobs. These kind of stunts are what is expected of them from the people that pay them. They are supposed to air shocking stunts and revelations from the idiots of this country.
They were indeed fired because of the pressure from sponsors and advertisers.
And, they will indeed be back getting even more money because of this. Just like they did when they were fired from here in Boston.

Oh, and about the Catholic Church:
I was born, raised, and received my confirmation as a Catholic, but would probably just consider myself a Christian after the disgrace that is the Catholic Church.
I swear if I ever get rich, I am starting my own chain of churches. The Holy Church of God. Nothing else. All God loving people welcome. In order to be a priest in my church you HAVE to be married to someone of the opposite sex. The rule of having the leaders of your church forsaking sex and marriage is beyond ridiculous. The core of religion is faith and the core of faith is found in love and the core of love is found in FAMILY. Why would the Catholic church have the leaders foresake the only reason to live. Everyone in this world can find at least they had one purpose in this world. And that is to create new life. The priests forsaking sex and marriage and everything else imbetween is a rather new thing as well. I believe it was started to prevent women from being involved in a high position of the church(as in banging the priest and getting in his ear I suppose). Pretty F'N stupid.
BTW: If the witches here in Salem were burned at the stake then what should become of the sickening child molestors in the Catholic Church. I say a good stoning is in order. Or perhaps borrow Sandman's singapore cane.

In other daytime talk radio news:

At Radio 104, they've been advertising that today at 5, the airwaves would never be the same, blah blah blah. The way they built it up, I thought they'd be changing formats. Instead, they've replaced Dee Snider with...

Bubba the Love Sponge.

You're right, it's going to change the way I listen to radio. I'm taking you off my presets, jagoffs. At least there's college radio. (And the sad part is the good station isn't even my school's. It's UNH, where my drive to my Monday classes will be accompanied by the sounds of Sparta, Sleater-Kinney, and Kind of Like Spitting. Yay for indie-rock.)

So those commercials were hyping a change at 5 am, not pm, then?

What station is that college station you were referring to? Right now I'm picking up mostly the usual NY radio stations, but I'm right on the border of most of their broadcast ranges, and I'm looking for something I can expect a decent signal out of...

Oh, no, they were hyping it at 5 PM. I guess they announced he was coming on next Tuesday.

And the station's WUNH... they've got a range of 30 miles out of New Haven. 88.7 FM, specifically. I can *just* get it at home, and thankfully, school's in that general direction.

So that means Dee is a lame duck for the rest of the week? Sucks to be him

I might be 30 miles away from New Haven. Then again, I might not. But if not I think I don't miss it by much.

Thanks for the info.

They aren't talk radio, but on the local classic rock new rock station around here, they have "The DVE morning Show, with Jim and Randy". These guys are funny. They have some hilariously fresh skits, and they don't always try to make the obvious joke. And they were even better when It was Scott and Jim, isn't that right OFB?

What a Manuever!

As of last Thursday, I don't even think he was on.

Yeah, I see your point; I was running out of energy with my last post. However, I know the entire premise of Fresh Prince of Bel Air was all about Will Smith, but I was referring to the (probable?)
