Anyone else catching an opening day game? I'll be out in left center today getting a horrible sunburn.

Well, Sox are on the road for the first week and a half, so no Fenway in the Snow this year. Fortunately though, its a 5:15 ET start, so no need in calling in with lepresy this year.

The Sox of the White version also start on the road this year, but I am hoping to be there on Friday when they open up at Comiskey (Now and Forever!) Park against Detroit.

I'm at work in DC right now where it's snowing....don't know what it's doing at Camden Yards but I've dialed it up on the AM dial.

When you're on a college campus, get no local game broadcasts, don't have cable, and couldn't find a place to listen to radio broadcasts even if a game's on, you take what you have.

Glavine, and to a lesser extent Maddux, both got knocked around today.

/Edit: Lookit how many underdog teams won today. Tampa Bay, KC, Pittsburgh... Not a good day to be favored, or to be starting a top tier pitcher, it seems.

The Yanks never open at home since it's too dammed cold here at this time of year(as the Mets found out today,) But I'll be at the Stadium next week for the home opener like I have for the past 4 years.

I was in the upper deck down the right field line of the lovely Qualcomm Stadium yesterday watching my Padres lose the first of 100 this season. And I'll be back there tonight, too.

Watch out for the Pirates... if the chips fall right, this could be a respectable 85 win team. Watching them thrash the Reds warmed my heart.

I love your logic. Thank you for telling me my opinion is wrong. Also, let me know when you gather a list of any of the AL pitchers I listed and the big games they pitched well in.
