It's probably easier to just accept it rather than embark on a discussion of semantics/ambiguous pronoun usage.
Oh yeah, they were beating that piece of history to the ground like no tomorrow on RAW tonight. And what better way to celebrate such a day than by letting Benoit 'give back his win' via some crummy finish. Hooray!?

Uh yeah, but how many times does a rematch happen exactly a year afterwards? (I know HBK was in it)
And a freaky thing about it is, on March 14, 2004, Chris Benoit was announced as residing from Atlanta, Georgia for the first time. Fast forward to March 14, 2005 and Benoit is in the ring with Triple H again IN Atlanta, Georgia.

That's the genius of it.
-Smackdown [2.03.2000] had Chris Benoit make his WWE in-ring debut in a loss to Triple H via ref bump and low blow/Pedigree. Triple H tapped out, but the ref was out. -No Mercy [10.22.2000] had Chris Benoit lose again to Triple H via low blow/Pedigree. -WrestleMania [3.14.2004] had Benoit beat H clean via tap out in the 3-way for the title. -Backlash [4.17.2004] had Benoit retain the title in another 3-way, this time getting the submission from HBK. -Vengeance [7.11.2004] had Benoit retain the title via pinfall on Triple H when Eugene got involved.
Common thread? All of these were good/great matches that ended up with everyone looking strong. When H wins, he cheats. When H loses, he gets the tar beaten out of him and the loss is understandable...or somebody gets involved to cost him the match.

You'd think after all this time, Benoit would have learned to guard his boys a bit better when facing HHH.

That is TOO funny. Who did he think he was fooling. As for the NWO, I am going to wait for any arrivals from people mentioned above before I judge them. "A lot of guys on this team have a lot of bark, but no bite.
