Melina vs. Beth Phoenix, I Quit Match: Beth should destroy her and set her sights back on Mickie for Night of Champions.

Big Show vs. John Morrison vs. Chavo Guerrero vs. CM Punk vs. Tommy Dreamer, Singapore Cane, #1 Contender for ECW Title Match: Well, you can throw out Dreamer and probably Morrison. Punk will win the title when he cashes in MITB, so he won't win here. Chavo had his run, so Show wins to face Kane at NOC.

Jeff Hardy vs. Umaga, Falls Count Anywhere: Umaga wins, as teflon Jeff Hardy still comes out looking good.

Shawn Michaels vs. Batista, Stretcher Match: I'm guessing HBK loses here, as he's had total control of this three-way feud in the ring.

John Cena vs. JBL, First Blood Match: JBL could really use a win, but I think this'll be another early-in-the-card match, and I don't think Cena loses if it is.

Triple H vs. Randy Orton, Last Man Standing Match: WWE.com doesn't say this is for the title. If it is, Trips retains. If it isn't, Orton does.

Undertaker vs. Edge, TLC Match for the World Heavyweight Championship: Every time I think Edge takes it back, he doesn't. So why not, I'll try again.

EDIT: Just heard about the stips that if Taker leaves, he's done on Smackdown. I don't think that's going to happen, so I'll change that to him retaining.

I predict this show will suck balls.

I can't imagine the LMS match will be non-title.

First things first: I predict I will NOT purchase this PPV.

Now, to the matches:

Beth Phoenix vs Melina: Melina wins. Melina has grown by leaps and bounds as a wrestler, and I hope she wins the title soon.

ECW Singapore Cane match: Tommy Dreamer wins it. Yes, he's a step above JTTS, but I still hold out hope for the guy.

Jeff Hardy vs. Umanga: Too bad this can't be a double DQ, because i could see it going that way. Instead, I predict it'll be Jeff Hardy, by way of the return of Matt Hardy and his interference.

Batista vs. Michaels. Batista gets the win. I'm bored of this feud. I want more Michaels vs. HBK.

Cena vs. JBL: I like JBL, and I hope he wins.

HHH vs. Randy Orton: Orton wins. I'd really like to see the WWE gamble on another Orton face turn.

Undertaker vs. Edge: This could go any way. I think Edge will win it.

One question: Where the hell is Jericho on the card?

You wouldn't like Ozu Makito when he's mad!

Big Show vs. John Morrison vs. Chavo Guerrero vs. CM Punk vs. Tommy Dreamer, Singapore Cane, #1 Contender for ECW Title Match: I predict CM Punk will crush everybody with the cane, and this fires up Kane so much that he demands to have the title match right there at ONS to defend the honour of E C W.

CM Punk vs. Kane, ECW Title Match:CM Punk hits the GTS within thirty seconds to become a two-time TWO-TIME ECdub champion. Then he waits until Edge wins the title in TLC and cashes in his briefcase right after that match.

CM Punk vs. Edge, World Heavyweight Title Match:CM Punk slaps on the Anaconda on the nearly-dead-from-TLC Edge. The ref has to stop the bout making CM Punk YOUR new World Heavyweight Champion. Triple H doesn't take this lying down though! He challenges CM Punk to a special unification match for all three of the titles!!!! (!)

CM Punk vs. HHH, WWE, World & ECW Title Match:After a forty-three minute ***** battle, CM Punk hits the Pepsi Plunge (JR will call this a pedigree) and become the first undisputed champion in six years. CM Punk then immediately renames the title the WWF title and proclaims we are all back in the Attitude Era! BUTWAIT...out comes Samoa Joe. He was released from TNA for a One Night Stand and wants to challenge Punk one last time.

CM Punk vs. Samoa Joe, Undisputed Title Ironman Match:After 60 minutes they are tied at 1-1, so CM Punk retains the gold. Then they shake hands. Streamers fall from the arena as the crowd chants "ROH" for the last thirty minutes of the show.

That's my prediction.

Am I the only one that thinks it's wasteful to do one person TLC matches? Couldn't they just have a good old fashion "Come as you are Streetfight?" I mean sure, there's no way in hell we're getting a tag team TLC anytime soon, but it would be nice if that were the signature match of tag teams.

Has there ever been this many PPV bouts between the same guys in such a short amount of time?

Cena can't be beat because he's some unholy genetic recombinate of superstars past. I mean, you might as well call him John "Realest of the Real, Sargent Rock - Cold - A - Mania" Cena.

I bet most of the matches are really good. Jericho will cost Michaels the match and turn there so Shawn and Batista go their separate ways at 1-1. You know Undertaker gets fired if he loses, so he wins.

*Phoenix beats Melina
*Show wins the Cane/Kane match
*Triple H beats Orton
*Batista beats HBK
*I can see JBL winning to set up a feud with Triple H, since losing a match by 'first blood' doesn't really hurt Cena at all and it'll give JBL a needed victory
*Umaga over Jeff. Speaking of much-needed victories...Umaga hasn't won a big match in months. He takes out Jeff to remain a viable threat.
*Edge over Undertaker. Oh yeah, that's right. Undertaker is 'fired' and then is drafted to Raw in three weeks.

“How is it that I am a good actor? What I do is I... pretend to be the person I’m portraying. You’re confused. Case in point: in Lord of the Rings, Peter Jackson comes to me and says ‘I would like you to be Gandalf the Wizard,’ and I said ‘You are aware that I am not really a wizard?’ and Peter Jackson said ‘I would like you to use your acting skills to portray a wizard for the duration of the show.’ So I said ‘Okay’ and then I said to myself ‘Mmm.. How do I do that?’ And this is what I did: I imagined that I was a wizard, and then I pretended, and acted, in that way on the stage. How did I know what to say? The words were written down for me in a script. How did I know where to stand? People told me where to stand." -- Sir Ian McKellen, Extras

Melina vs. Beth Phoenix, I Quit Match: Beth or else WTF.

Big Show vs. John Morrison vs. Chavo Guerrero vs. CM Punk vs. Tommy Dreamer, Singapore Cane Match: Show needs the momentum back.

Jeff Hardy vs. Umaga, Falls Count Anywhere: Hardy if they're ever going to do anything with him (which at this point is a decent question).

Shawn Michaels vs. Batista, Stretcher Match: Batista.

John Cena vs. JBL, First Blood Match: Gotta be Cena.

Triple H vs. Randy Orton, Last Man Standing Match: HHH.

Undertaker vs. Edge, TLC Match: Edge, and as said, Taker winds up on Raw later on after a lot of talent shifts to Fridays.

Beth Phoenix over Melina via that submission move she used to beat Maria.

Big Show wins the Cane thingy...to meet Kane.

Shawn Michaels over Batista, leading to Batista quitting on the spot.

Jeff Hardy over Umanga because of the upcoming draft.

John Cena over JBL because Cena is really directionless right now.

Edge over Undertaker. Taker is forced to leave, although he will be back for the draft.

Triple H over Randy Orton because Orton's new music sucks.

To everyone who keeps predicting "Edge wins but Taker comes back for whatever", IF HE LOSES HE LEAVES THE WHOLE FUCKING COMPANY.

So Taker's winning somehow. I'm not predicting the rest, because I stink at predicting.

I think you mean Jericho and HBK, cause while a Michaels vs. himself match would be cool to wath, unless he has the ability to morph, it ain't going to happen.

I go with Beth Phoenix crushing Melina in the women's match. Big Show takes the #1 contender match to set up another lame big man feud with Kane. Jeff Hardy will either win his FCA match with Umanga or kill himself in the process with some insane dive outside the ring. Based on the rumors, I see HBK outlasting Batista in what should be the match of the night, IMO. Cena beats JBL, Trips takes Orton out of the title picture, and Taker will defeat Edge again, only to probably have some BS decision take the title from him yet again. So the last three matches will end up repeating just like last months PPV. I think that's the problem with One Night Stand. It's not going to suck IMO, but with the expection of the ECW match, it feels like we've seen all of these matches before, some many, many times before.

Like that means anything in the context of wrestling kayfabe.

Honestly, isn't it time for Taker's yearly 3-4 month break so he can do the "OMFG IT'S THE UNDERTAKER!!!!" comeback a few months later? Maybe he's losing because it's vacation time?

It does, actually. How many times does the face lose the "if you lose (insert dire consequences here)" match? Cena beat Edge in that TLC "If I lose I go to Smackdown for 3 years" a long while back.

It is officially summer, he could lose and do the big Summerslam comeback. I still say he wins and gets new heels to play with in the draft.

And someone settle an arguement for me: This is Taker's first TLC match, but it's not his first ladder match, right? He and Jeff Hardy did the slow climb bit for the hardcore title way back when, IIRC.

Yeah, it was a match on Raw. But I don't think it was for the Hardcore Title, was it?
