| #3 Posted on 25.3.02 1928.56 | Actually, it happened last night at some point. The counter on the site and the actual web logs differ by about 10,000 page views (probably due to testing in the month of December before the db was live).
So - we could probably figure it out - but I'm not going to

So... we are averaging over 1.5 million hits a month, but really only about 340,000 pages served a month. Figured out how people overrepresent their viewership yet?
Of course, I could have set the board to load using a welcome page, auto-preview your posts, ask for confirmation when marking a forum read, etc. These are all cheap tricks that other sites use.
OH! Some sites count their pop-up ads as pages viewed too!  Watch out when you see stats, they aren't always above board.
