Hey Yo...

All I can say is, it's a decent ride, but I wouldn't go back. I can say it was the shortest movie I can remember sitting through (the 2 hours flew by), but MAN was it weak! I'm not going to spoil anything, but the ending is a bit of a let down, for me at least. It's kind of like a big build-up and your left feeling like you've been ripped off. I saw it with four other people and they all agreed.

As for the "haunting performance" of Robin Williams, don't believe the hype. I was disappointed with the movie, but I was REALLY disappointed with Robin's performance.

All in all, there were some good visuals, but the plot's just so-so with an ending you'll never wanna' remember. All in all, I give this movie NO thumbs, and no stars. I don't recommend it to anyone, however, if you see it, enjoy the ride.

Also, this makes the question the state of movies this year, other than Spider-Man I can't really name anything I've enjoyed thouroughly at the box office. There's also NO Oscar standout performances in my mind (leading me to believe Eminem WILL get nominated, and boyyyyyyy do I hate to say those words).

I just got back from One Hour Photo.

I think it's great that Robin Williams is going back to doing comedy.

We've had family comedy, slapstick comedy, dark comedy, and now unbelievably creepy comedy.

I went in after hearing that it was "really scary” and it makes you want to never take a picture again. I was pleasantly surprised with a good ol fashioned creepy comedy.

Also, I enjoyed the ending and was glad they went the way they did and didn’t resort to the ending I was half expecting.

There was one scene that stuck out for though. The dream sequence with Robin's bloodshot eyes...was it really necessary? Do they stick this stuff so people can walk out of an independent movie talking about metaphors, man.

Its… like… a metaphor… for photos, man.

Hey Yo...

For what it was worth the dream sequence was one of the few scenes I liked. Kinda' reminded me off The Shining and the part with the blood oozing from the elevators.

Yeah, great comedy. I laughed maybe once, and it was when I wasn't supposed to. LOVE those comedy's.

Wow, that was something like "ALI": Okayish movie elevated by a damned good performance [Will Smith in ALI, Robin Williams in ONE HOUR PHOTO].

Like my boss told me, "It's slow..." but if you like Robin, you'll like the movie.

Since the only way I can fully explain the reasons why I disagree with you means spoiling the ending, I will simply say is that I found the movies ending to be entirely in tune with it's characters and extremely creepy.

I also totally disagree with the dude that called it "unbelievably creepy comedy". While there were a few chuckles at the beginning to ease the audience in(and I gotta say, at the showing I went to the only true moment of laughter for the audience was the clip from The Simpsons), this was 100% NOT a comedy of any sort. If you left thinking it was, then you missed the point.

No. At least I don't think so. I liked this show from the very first time I saw a promo for it(During Raw funny enough). And it feeled every expectation I had for it. It was both funny and touching at times.
