The second season of OUaT starts off in a similar way as the second season of Lost: a little bit of location misdirection as we're introduced to a mysterious man with an as yet unknown connection to Storybrooke. It is important though that he knows the curse has been broken in Storybrooke.
With the curse broken, would the show take us to Fairy Tale world full time? Thankfully, the answer is no, because I'd have a hard time dealing with the really cheesy CGI 100% of the time, rather than 50%.
Emilie de Ravin has been bumped to series regular. Can't really complain about that.
Robert Carlyle is a gem.

We'll be back right after order has been restored here in the Omni Center. That the universe was formed by a fortuitous concourse of atoms, I will no more believe than that the accidental jumbling of the alphabet would fall into a most ingenious treatise of philosophy - Swift | dunkndollaz

Magic is different in Storybrooke and it looks like Emma's touch is the key. Guess that means that Regina is the only one that has magic powers at this time.
Look for Emma & Snow to have some Mother/Daughter bonding on their journey back to Storybrooke. Yawn.
And Claire/Belle looks great as a brunette. Glad to see her back.
