It's actually $179.97 at Deep Discount DVD (deepdiscountdvd.com) - that's right around $30 per season (when you don't count the writer's strike "season") AND I get the movie (FINALLY) AND I get the "Law & Order" crossovers (were they on the season releases? I don't think so...?)? SIGN ME UP - MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ME - AND THINGS OF THAT NATURE

Sure, now that I've bought the first three seasons, they come out with the megabox of everything? So the question becomes do I shell out for this super duper package or keep building the set season by season? The latter will probably be cheaper, but not by much. Damn.

Oh yeah.

I also have the first three seasons, but I will be delighted to hand them down to my mother.

I looked on the Amazon page, but I admit I'm really tired right now and probably missed it. So, question: did they say anything about the video transfer? The original sets look so grainy, whereas the broadcasts on Sleuth look so crisp. I've also read complaints in the past about the DVD sets' video quality being poor. Did they fix that, or is this just basically seasons 1-7, with the movie and three L&O episodes added? Because with my luck, I'd buy this set; then, 18 months later, they'd announce the release of new DVD sets, with improved video and audio quality, ten times the number of commentaries, plus more bonus footage.

I never warmed to the new Batman show, mainly due to the character designs. (Sort of the same with the LSH show, but it's the Legion!) Brave and the Bold is a good idea for the premise of the show. It's also toyetic.
