I never noticed the calendar option at the top of the weinerboard page until today and then I did a stupid thing: I looked for people whose birthdays showed they were older than me (46). Ooops - no body for a long time, but polybi - who posted three times and left, tail between the legs a year and a half ago.

And then I came upon my new hero: DrDirt. Doc, if I said anything untoward in our recent discussion in politics, I am sorry.

I AM NOT THE OLDEST WEINER!!! (whoohooo!)

There *is* a "sort by age" on the Wienerlist link, if you want to save some time...

http://wienerboard.com/memberlist.php?sort=age

Interestingly for me, I'm not even in the Top 50 anymore. Given that I tend to enjoy the contributions of the forty-somethings a hell of a lot more than the pre-teens, this is a Good Thing. ;-)

Wow, there are 7 posters older than me now! Though I am the oldest poster to have registered in 2001, just edging out the DEAN (who is way down at #20 now). Though Dean does refer to me as gramps now.

I'm just outside the top 50, so one older than me die, please.

Very cool that Bullitt and I are just 4 days apart, as he gave me some advice and help as I moved to Calgary.

FWIW I thought that was slightly odd that Odessasteps (Mr. Coale) and I were born on the same day (but if he was born before 11:20 CDT he should be listed as older than me :-) . Being amongst the oldest 50 doesn't seem "right".

35 puts me at 33 on the board. With age comes wisdom... I'm still waiting for it.

There is at least one more person in the "older than CRZ" category, but I'm not so inclined to give out my age these days.

You got me by 4 days...meaning you have the same birthday as my Nana!

I'm actually quite surprised there are so many of us in that over-30 category.

This one's super lucky!

It's not being 38 that makes me feel old, it's 3 kids (13, 8, and 3) that do it to me!

AWA, I never learn much from people who agree with me. Seriously, I appreciate the passion with which you put forth you position. You have not offended me in the least. If I cannot defend my position, maybe I should change it. At our ages, the opinions people have are born of experience. Can you imagine what Grimis will be like at our age? I enjoy the exchanges with Weiners like you and Grimis, et. al. and maybe I am just dense, but I have never found anyone's comments towards my opinions offensive.

You and I are in the primes of our lives, unlike those young whippersnappers like Zed and Guru.

The current BWF Women's Champion says:

Whoa...I'm the 19th youngest (15th, if you take out the people who have ages like 3 in their profile) person here.

But I guess the advantage around here is that I'm less likely to run into posts that are like "omg the rock is liek so kewl!!!!!111".

Two recent additions knocked me out of the Top 10 and I have to agree with Java - it's the kids (5 1/2 & 3 1/2) that make me feel old but it's also the kids who are keeping me young.

14th, baby! The number of Ernie Banks and Don Hutson (how's that for skewing older?)!

And, yes, kids aged 8, 6, and 2 will do it to you!

That would vary from search engine to search engine depending mostly on how quickly they "crawl" that particular page after you change it.
