I'm glad they unmasked him, but I would have liked them to do it right after he recovered from the pinfall. And that was just a stupid idea to give him that haircut, he looked like the lost Road Warrior. So, let's see where this goes.....I say a change in tights is needed.

You know, I am not going to sit here and try to pretend what goes on backastage in the WWE, but if you think about it, why should Kane really give a damn. I mean, the guy was sloppy all through his match, but who can really blame him?

The man is constantly pushed/depushed that his character has become a total joke. The only thing that he had that could sustain his character has been taken away. Glenn Jacobs had everything to lose Monday, and judging by the reaction of this board, he has become more of a joke than what the WWE has already made him out to be.

Hell, I am sure he knew that, and I am sure he just wants to collect a paycheck now.

But I digress. The WWE really dropped the ball on this one. They could have easily applied the type of make-up that is used in Hollywood, and then so he doesnt have to go through make-up sessions for every appearance like someone mentioned above, simply have him keep using the mask. That way there is still the pay off of unmasking, the night is even more special for those who attended, and it would give those who didnt watch something to regret.

Uh, HHH did go over the guardrail. That's how he ended up "in the laps" of those girls. (Where he'd definitely positioned himself to go.) The clothesline was fine. HHH controlled the fall so that he didn't damage any of the lovely ladies, while still landing within their grope-range. I don't see a problem.

No. Right before they went to the outside, Kane slammed HHH into the turnbuckle, HHH crumpled appropriately, & Kane kicked him the rest of the way under the bottom rope. No clothesline involved. I again saw nothing wrong.

I was also thinking about the neckbreaker. I bet under normal circumstances, to move Kane back into better reach, HHH would have actually grabbed some hair to close the distance between them. However, under the special circumstances, it occurred to HHH that he'd damn well better not grab a hunk of hair. In any case, the move only ended up looking a tiny bit loose -- still well within acceptable tolerance for me.

Actually, go back and watch this part again. Kane whipped HHH into the turnbuckle, and it looked like he was going to do the 'flip over the top like Flair and HBK' but he didn't have enough momentum.

That's just my take on it. As far as the mask goes, my girlfriend noticed that my heart rate was at an extreme level just prior to the demasking. I was saying to myself, and her, come on kane. DO IT! It happened, then I felt...releived.

Great post, CRZ (Though yeah, it sucks why you had to post it to begin with). And...

Man, you just described me EXACTLY during those last five minutes(well, without the girlfriend part of course, lol but my bro was near by). Except for after the relief, I went into a freak out mode for a little bit. Yes, I am a dork. Well atleast I've managed to find 1 or 2 other people on the board who were freaked out as well. Good enough.

Wow, he must be OVERFLOWING with talent if he relied on a piece of red and black leather to sustain his character. Let's push him to the moon!

I know what you mean -- I think I just read the move differently. My interpretation was that HHH just came into the turnbuckle a little higher than he usually would, probably beause Kane is tall, so HHH is keeping his centre of gravity up higher, & centre-ring to the corner isn't enough distance to get sunk back down. The little hop as HHH hit the ring ropes (slightly high) was just to disspiate the energy, & wasn't intended as a "go over the top". (HHH's usual "over the top rope" move is that pretty cartwheel that he does near the corner, but not from it.) I'm OK to call that a "subject to interpretation" though.

With no Internet around handy, I had no idea what was going on when I watched RAW. To be quite honest; I really enjoyed the match. Yeah, there were a couple of suspect spots, but I looked beyond that for once. When Kane kept on doing the zombie situp, I was marking out. Plus THEY WENT THROUGH WITH THE STIP. ANY TIME they go through with a stip I'm happy. ESPECIALLY if it's a risky one like this. And Kane is good in the ring for a man his size. I think anyway.

And I'll say this much about RAW lately; I've liked watching Triple H and in particular, Evolution. It's all about the chase. Triple H has had that belt for a long time, and as soon as a person WORTH THAT BELT who goes ONE ON ONE with Triple H in a GREAT MATCH and wins, THAT WILL BE AWESOME. And until that time comes, I look forward to seeing Triple H wrestle, with the knowledge that he'll lose eventually....and that match will rule the school.

El Nastio; enjoying the Easter season.

Like Cubs said, Mitch now makes t-shirts with Torrie Wilson. Kenny is, I guess, too immature for TV time and for marriage.
