For all you people who bitched the hell out of Jericho's title run, I present to you: Triple H. Triple H the weakest WWE champion since Jericho. Weaker even, cuz at least Jericho had to beat rock and austin to get the title.

As far as Booker losing? No i dont like it but i'll live. Theyve shown that booker is most definitly on Triple H's level. Loses a matchby getting totally fucked over by 3 PEOPLE Booker T is there. Take of the smarkass glasses and look at it like a normal fan would. Booker T has Trips number, from a storyline standpoint Booker can beat Triple H.

So ummm can we please go back to the usual and just bitch about Jericho being held down?

Man, was that a god-awful ending.

I can't put in on HHH's shoulders, though. Why?

Because NOBODY came out of that looking good. There's no way that a guy running the show solely for his own benefit would book the match to be that kind of idiotic schmozz. NASH booked better than that. Hell, Russo books better than that (most of the time).

I hate even saying it, but this is the type of booking that killed WCW. The WWE won't die that way, but... that may not be a good thing. Imagine if WCW's reign of crap had gone on and on. Ugh.

Yeah, after getting the shit kicked out of him and only coming back in the last minute, and then being shunted off camera so the Clique could take center stage.

Booker sure looked like a badass.

One of my favorite WCW moments of all time was at the end of one particular Nitro -- I don't remember the date, but it doesn't really matter. The ending was a complete clusterfuck, just like tonight's; Sid was there, and I think it was Rick Steiner interfering to make sure that there wouldn't actually be a finish to the match.

The trash started flying out of the crowd, and just as the camera centered on Sid, a soft drink got him RIGHT upside the head.

That is how I felt about tonight's show.

Okay, five points for Gillberg, but that's about six thousand points short of inspiring me to even go to my local sports-theme restaurant this weekend and watch the PPV for free. My money goes to the UFC PPV on Friday night. The last one was fun, even if Tank Abbott went down too fast.

I had friends calling me (okay, one friend calling), saying "WCW. That finish was all WCW."

Boooring. Boring, boring, boring. Let me know how Backlash goes. On second thought, I don't give a shit.

i didn't hate coach before, but after the opening match which he didn't call a single move (not even an irish whip!), save for "isn't that your favorite move king?" he is just plain irritating. note to coach: i don't want to hear your damn speculation about kevin nash while the hurricane is in the walls of jericho.

so um.. what is the official ruling on the end of that main event?

What a sham. My interest in Backlash just dropped a lot. If not for the awesome Smackdown offerings (Lesnar/Cena looks damn good to me) this would be the first PPV I've honestly thought about skipping since January 1998.

Good thing for them they haven't split the PPVs yet, because if this was the lead up to Bad Blood (or whatever) there's no way in hell I would be ordering.

It just kills me to watch Jericho and Booker be used as background music for these three washed-up pricks.

I don't think this is QUITE as bad as some people are saying, since it was pretty clearly established that Booker had HHH beaten even before HBK's interference. It took both Flair and Jericho cheating their asses off for HHH to even get into position to win, and even then Booker escaped.

My fault is with the aftermath of this...what's next for Booker T? Obviously, the next PPV is going to be Nash vs. Triple H for the world title, but will they hold off Booker's (hopefully) eventual title win for the first RAW-only PPV? Or SummerSlam?

The answer to that question is they will hold Booker's title win off for sometime around the moment the Sun becomes a dark burnt-out husk of stellar matter.

Booker T's title win is being held off until the temperature drops to 32 degrees Farenheit in Hell. Hope you can wait that long.

It is over for Book. If there was any plan for him in the future, he wouldn't have disappeared when the Kilq took over the ring. Even if he gets another title shot at Bad Blood, they have beat him up way too much to give him the title. The booking for the past year has killed every contender for the belt. So no one is suitable to be the champ. So only Goldberg and Nash are left because they have not been damaged, yet. So please forget about Booker getting the belt in the future now. It is over. Welcome to fueding for commercials. Maybe Book can take Goldust to a doctor, he can battle Goldust's affliction, maybe he will get a win over that.

I've tried my best to keep HHH bashing at a miniumum, but GOD DAMN. Can he EVER put ANYONE over, specifically anyone who he's in a feud with? I didn't see Raw tonight, but now I'm glad I didn't. And after everything I've read, I don't think I'll be watching next week either. I've already seen the HBK/Nash crap, it was called 1995. I've also seen HHH vs. Random Face, it's called 2001-2003, the last however-many months specifically.

I love wrestling, but I hate the WWE. I'm starting to believe that no one in upper management even watches what they put on the air. NWA-TNA needs a weekly TV spot nationally, and NOW. I swear, there must be a gigantic market out there right now for quality wrestling. The WWE is as bad as WCW was when it went off the air, if not worse.

I have so much more to say about all this, about the WWE and how it's run, about McMahon and about the politics and the overall attitude (no pun intended,) but it isn't worth the time to type it all out. Fuck the WWE, I'm done.

The worst part was Coach talking about how it was Booker's "last chance." You don't have your commentators say it's a guy's last chance when you know he's not going to win. That's just plain idiotic.

Shame TNA doesn't provide quality wrestling. There's no chance of them getting a national TV spot, so stop dreaming. And there's no more sure a sign of someone running out of ideas and being sheeplike than comparing them to WCW. Yawn.

Errr...no. It's to add more drama to the match. With Booker receiving two title shots in a month, it pushes the desperation factor of Booker in the match. Hell, he looked strong in the match, what with the continual interference of Jericho and Flair. That gives him issues with both guys, and his feud with HHH isn't finished either, setting up the six-man tag.

Well, the six-man is in a few days, so it was already set-up. As for his constant interference and what it sets up, Booker T can now feud with Jericho or Flair (I'd pick Flair since Ric's closer to winning the title than Jericho will ever be again).

Hell, after that they'll probably make a 6-man tag belt just to put him, Kane, and RVD together as some kind of 'inside' joke. You know what's next! It involves the words "title for title", "Triple H", and "Handicap"... and we all know how *that'll* end too...
