Okay, I think this will be the RAW thread for the ladies' board. This is so that you guys can tell us what you think of RAW from a women's point of towel.....I mean view! It was pretty good, but I was thinking of Smackdown (especially Guererro) most of the time, and the Roulette idea is intriguing, for sure. Not much else caught my eye, uh, nothing of note that I could think of... mmmm, he's smiling... Um, it feels kind of humid in here... Anyway, you got opinions of RAW and you're a chick? Post em here!

I noticed that she looked a litle different to me too. So I sat down with a still of her pic from last night and an old pic. *I know, strange behavior* What I came up with is a combination of these things:
-straighter and darker hair w/ blonde streak, kinda Bonnie Raitt-esque. -lighter foundation or none at all. She was paler. -Darker eyebrows than in the past. -No eyeshadow. She usually wears purple or pink or red eyeshadow. She had none last night. -lighter lipstick or none at all. -weight gain. Her chin lacked its pointiness and her mid-section and hips were wider.
And I still don't look forward to her being on my tv on Sunday Nights. She sucked on Velocity. Then again, that's what King of the Hill and the Simpsons are for.
As far as RAW, I thought it was a good showing, not better than last week however. But if I'm going to go with the implied salaciousness from Ringmistress' post, I'll say these things...
- HHH, wet, in a towel... - Christian in a cowboy hat... - Randy Orton is starting to grow on me & his smile too & some of his butt cheek too. - Jericho and his 'How you doin?', disses to Terri, and blowing Hurricane's cover. - Benjamin Bratt in that commercial for that movie he did with Katie Holmes that was supposed to have come out in the summer.
I was cracking up when Hurricane was trying to tape record Kane & Terri kissing.
I swear the UnAmericans are about to orchestrate some sort of swerve. Wasn't it just last week when they kicked Coach out of the locker room to regroup? But I don't want to bet $ on that. Just seems so. Or maybe, since it coincides with him joining them, Regal is going to turn join with the Americans like Tony Blair. Again, I'm not putting $ on this.
I'm looking forward to seeing RAW next week. So many possibilities. Was I the only person who cracked up when Stacey actually insinuated that she would actually win the Womens Title from Trish? Especially after that match Trish and Victoria had just had?
I hate how they are taking everything away from Jericho. They take the IC belt just after he won it and give it to Kane, who still has a Tag belt. Kane took the title as a blow off to Jericho because he all ready has a belt and then Hurricane and Kane are going to start a feud with Rosey & Jamal.
I wonder each day just what in the hell they are going to do with Jeff Hardy. Him fighting Big Show two weeks in a row makes no sense.
Hey, that's cool Ticamo, the wetter, uh, wordier, the better. I too laughed at Stacy's declaration that she'd become the Women's champ, but then again, I wouldn't be surprised (or pleased with the great talents of Victoria, the returning Ivory, Molly and Trish being wasted somewhat), if she did. As far as Lita goes, I really didn't mind her looks too much, it's good to see her again, but WHY OH WHY does she get to commentate on HeAT?! WHAT ABOUT RAVEN!!?!?! He was the BEST! Christian looked real natural in a cowboy hat, which is a shock, since he's originally from Canada. Seeing that gave me a flashback when he had those big red shades on. I feel for Jericho too, 13 days, and he loses the title? He's a HUGE ROCK STAR, and a great flirt. That reeked of retardation. Um, Randy Orton was okay, what being JR's latest boy toy and all. The Hurricane made me laugh, which is something I look for in a man, in a towel, or under a man's towel.....D'OH! Uh, pardon me, but my mind's a little mixed up, even though I did have a good night's sleep last night... Anyway, RAW was okay, as long as you didn't point out the logic holes, like I did, which caused a headache, which then magically went away when I saw... Um, give me a minute..

Lita's "new face" is because she hasn't been able to work out while she's been injured. Pre-injury, she'd gotten pretty buff, and I remember reading rumors that manage was kind of against it because it changed her face. If you look at pics of "Miss Congeniality" from ECW you'll notice the difference.
I thought RAW was an improvement, and it certainly looks like they're trying. I did, however, have three major problems with last night's show:
Booker jobs AGAIN. Jericho jobs AGAIN. Boring as hell Kane is our #1 contender.
Why why WHY when we have Jericho, RVD, and Booker is Kane the #1 contender? Sigh.
But I did appreciate the fast pace of the show and I am continuing to appreciate the fact that they seem to have put a muzzle on Lawler.
Victoria is looking promising, and her match with Trish was pretty good, for what it was. I'm just wondering if Molly's comments about JR and the King have been the reason she lost her belt, then got seemingly de-pushed after the ppv. That would be a shame, but I guess we'll have to wait and see how that plays out. But Jazz is returning soon, and with Trish, Molly, and Victoria already there, we have four pretty decent women's wrestlers.
I *hope* the UnAmericans are splitting. I really do like all four guys in that stable, but I don't think any of them are being utilized to their potential in this angle. We saw shades of the Christian of old last night, and I for one could really go for a Storm/Christian feud.
It seems to be getting more and more obvious that they want us to HATE Randy Orton, and I will play along.
Bubba's speech was pretty good before his match and then what? He loses handily. Not sure what the point of that was.
All in all though, I really appreciated the effort shown here. They DO seem to want to make the show better.
And hey! The return of mild-mannered reporter Gregory Helms! heh.
As soon as you're born you start dying, so you might as well have a good time.
Droplets ... glistening ... rivulets ... Uhhhh, was there something else on Raw last night?
Lawler continues to be pretty reasonable, for the most part. He did make one comment to the effect of "Victoria must be pms-ing." Although they also did make some positive comments about their ability to wrestle, which was novel.
Actually, Y2J in HHH's locker room was about the most entertaining promo I've seen him do in a long time. "Hi there, I'm a rock star" is pretty funny.
Are we lining up for some Regal/Storm vs Christian/Test matches? That could be kind of fun. And Christian in JR's hat truly was much cuter than I ever would have thought. (Ringmistress: Cowboy hats & Canada are not mutually exclusive. Remember, the Calgary Stampede is a veritable cowboy fantasmagoria.)
So Teri kissed Kane back, eh? Hrrmm. I guess CRZ calling it a sexual harrassmant kiss (last week) was premature. I'm thinking that I can do without Kane & Terri having a thing, just like I could do without Y2J spitting apple all over Terri. (Suppose we're going someplace with that, eventually?)
I hate commercials in the middle of matches. Hate them, hate them, hate them.
And next time, could we make the towel just a little ... less tenacious?
I love the Hurricane (and his alter ego)...the guy took what could have been an incredibly stupid angle and ran with it, and made it hilarious!! The guy is golden.
What is up with Terri and Kane??? I know she's supposed to be hot or something, but blech. I love the "Chicks dig the mask" gig...LOL. My husband, who watches with me sporadically, commented that he thought Kane couldn't talk. Ah, continuity.
Emma, I have to confess that I enjoyed watching Y2J spit apple all over Terri, and nearly fell out of my chair laughing when she picked a piece out of her cleavage. Of course, Y2J is a god and can do no wrong.
straighter and darker hair w/ blonde streak, kinda Bonnie Raitt-esque. Is that what that was? I thought it was a bad dye job somehow... huh. Learn something new every day!
I don't know if I like this idea of ending the IC title either. On one hand, I see how it places more importance on the World Title, since it's the only singles belt a male can hold on RAW. But it still doesn't feel right.
Hooray for a long main event, even if Jericho did lose his chance to be the last IC champion ever. Most of the matches last night were pretty good. 10PM came really quickly - the last few weeks, it seemed like the first hour lasted forever. Very few complaints outside of the attacks on the NFL/MNF. Almost felt like I was watching the XFL again.
The Randy Orton video was just weird. What's next, those little "What's the Call?" clips? Those "Down by 6 with 0:12 seconds left, Dallas is on their own 46 and in need of a big play. Roger Staubach heaves a pass towards the end zone. (Something crazy happens in the end zone.) What is the correct call in this situation?" Ad. "Obscure NFL rule that decides the game" type things. Actually, that'd be kind of cool. This wheel idea intrigues me, but sorry, WWE. 10/7 is one of three nights I'm absolutely guaranteed to see the Packers game.
"This is not Nam. This is bowling. There are rules."
Yeah, there's something slippery about this whole IC title deal, but I'll reserve judgement. Well, like I said, RAW was pretty okay, but could've been better. I don't know what rivulets are Emma, but they were great too. In another note, I just read the Smackdown spoilers, and I won't spoil you guys, but it looks like it's another winner! Makes me glad I live in a city with a BIG UPN affiliate (channel 57), and Comcast (TNN). Look like I finally got my biceps straight...D'OH!
Did he always look like Al Snow, with the Diesel hair??? Thank you, Emma! I knew there was a resemblence to someone there, but I just couldn't get past the fact that Kevin Nash and I evidently use the same hair color to figure out *who* he resembled.
