| #1 Posted on 21.3.03 0210.17 | Instant Rating: 2.44 | So, I know a lot of people have trouble finding places where they can upload their avatars. In fact, I'm one of them. So I figured, why not get Yahoo! to do our evil bidding! As such, I created the Yahoo! Group "wienerboard" at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/wienerboard/ . Don't worry about all that crap I wrote for the site description and what not. That was just so that Yahoo! thinks this is a valid group. Anyway, the point is that they give the group 20 MBs of space for "files". I figure that should be enough for most of the people who have trouble finding avatars, as long as people aren't uploading videos and stuff. I don't know if you have to join the group to upload files or what, but if you need a place to upload files for your avatar, give it a shot. With any luck, Yahoo! won't shut us down.
Oh, maybe you should join the group anyways. They might shut down a group with only 1 member. Just make sure to tell it not to send messages to your e-mail address, and everything should be good.
If you can see the American flag with reversed colors in my sig, then it works.

Surely you guys have access to some web space somewhere. Check your ISP account for details. Most broadband accounts come with some space. I know when I had AOL years ago they had webspace...

Since you are the owner/founder of the group, you can change that option. Click on Management and change it so that anyone can see posts and have access to photos.

You reverse the colors of something, you stare at that for a couple minutes, and then you look at a blank white space. In that blank white space, you see what you originally had, i.e. a red, white, and blue American flag. But I don't know if the grey is right. It showed up as like a pink in Paint, but then it became a grey somehow. Is it grey or gray, I can't remember?
Edit: Oh, and the original point of me having the flag is that, if you actually counted, you'd see there are 51 stars on that flag. And I thought that would be amusing.

I'm sorry, I do try to refrain from the blindingly obviously bad jokes, but that one just demanded I do it.

Yeah, that works most of the time. Some site though (any official Nintendo website, for example), have cookies associated with all of their content, and I'd rather not make people deal with that, especially since many people's computers accept the cookie automatically.
