I hope it doesn't rain. Or snow. Or get oppressively cold. Or get oppressively hot. Or get very windy. Or be humid. Or.....
There are just so many things that could go wrong, but I still hope it works out.

The old-timers game beforehand seems almost more interesting. Gretzky~~!

I don't think they're going to have to worry about it becoming opressively hot or humid in Edmonton during hockey season.
I think it's a really cool idea........it will be interesting if it snows, though.

I've surprised they haven't tried this in basketball yet, even though one could say they do by using domes(i.e. Michigan State v Kentucky at Ford Field in December) but can you imagine Duke v UCLA at the Rose Bowl?

Welcome to my world. But hell, why couldn't it be Flames/Oilers? It'd be cheaper, and they'd definately sell out faster than Canadiens/Oilers. I guess they just want to have CBC get good ratings.

What may be even cooler than the actual game will be the legends game of old-school Oilers (lead by Gretzky) against old-school Canadiens (lead by Lafleur.)
