I should have called it on here 2 weeks ago. When he was on Confidential, I figured something was up. They wanted to let new fans get an idea of who HBK is/was before bringing him back. Let's see who is last match is against? I am thinking it will be against HHH as orignially planned for WMX7. I can't see HBK taking on a full-time in-ring role.
Maybe I am wrong...but atleast WWE has us talking and excitied again.
January 4th 1999 - The day WCW injected itself with 10 gallons of Liquid Anthrax...AKA...The day Hogan "Defeated" Nash to win the WCW title in front of 40,000.
Just before the music hit, I sat there all blase and said "here comes Goldust." Then, the music hit, and as one of the other people in the room said "I have chills now." I didn't need any words, or anything else this week. Just the sight of Nash and Michaels in the same ring, in the NWO colors....wow. I'm happy now.
How's your new love?/I hope he's doin' fine/Heard you told him that you'd love him 'till the end of time/Now, that's the same thing/the same thing you told me seems like just the other day/Gee ain't it funny, funny how time slips away? - Willie Nelson tells the truth.

To me there's a difference between bringing back someone who really wasn't much to write home about in their prime, and bringing back possibly the best wrestler ever. If Shawn Michaels is a shell of himself and unable to do anything then I'll join in your "feh". But if he's able to go at anything close to what he used to be able to bring then he is a valuable addition capable of putting on wonderful matches with a new generation of people. I'm hoping the latter ends up being the case.

All I'm going to say is: I marked out like a little girl. So it did it's job. The funny thing is, I think, I never liked HBK all that much. It was just cool to see Diesel and Shawn again.
"I'm bi a lot of things, but lingual's not one of them."
Can't say that I marked out or even got excited. I'm not a fan of Michaels and never really have been one. I will say that the man looked gayer than ever.
*drool* spotfest galore, but man, that would be a killer match
for the more old school match, just put hbk vs either of those 2 in a straight match....
damn, i wish owen were still around....
RIP O.H.

odd side note...have the kliq been together since the MSG incident? it always seems like 1 or 2 are always missing...
just after Hall is gone, HBK is back [trade up, i think, Hall looks out of place with those Goldberg-ish pencil legs. Say it with me, "Leg presses"]

I agree with spf2119. I think most of us think Shawn will only wrestler a couple more matches. But if he can bring anything he's ever had to the ring.... he's a great addition. HE'S back.. this is so awesome.
As for the Cliq being together in one brand.... no.... not since MSG... at least as i recall.
But the question is what is the purpose of Michaels being back. The nWo is a joke, and the only people they are feuding with are themselves. X-Pac is being turned into a whining punk (which I don't mind seeing), Show just stands there like a goofy idiot, Booker has become comic relief for no good reason at all, and I'm still holding out Golddust reverts back to Dustin soon.
The only thing worth his return is if they closed ranks, drop Booker and his hanger on (Golddust) and did a quick feud with them to finish off this angle. Then just use the nWo with the old DX skits and get some good laughs and hope it will bring out the good talker in Nash so their can be a justified reason why he is still being paid.
i thought it was pretty obvious that xpac and show will be kicking out booker and goldust soon, and now that the nwo has more of a clique feel about it, then g.i. bro and goldie wont be around the nwo for much longer. i think when it happens (just after king of the ring i guess) the face heat that booker and goldust get will be incredible.
but will they put booker and goldust into the tag title picture (seeing as they will be mega faces) or wil they split them up so booker can go for the belt? i think they should put them in for the tag belts, as there aren't many over tag teams at the moment
My gf asked me, "Is he gay?" when HBK came out. Then when the segment ended, she was like, "was that it? Isn't he supposed to say something or something?"
With that said...I assume he will be the leader for the group, the talking head and wrestle maybe 2 or 3 matches. I would like to see a fued with him and the other WWE part-time wrestler, The Rock.

They won't be in the tag title picture unless they switch shows.
As for Michaels, I'm taking a wait and see attitude.
