You know the irony of all of this is that 'The Official War Thread' has for the most part brought the most moderated, well thought out arguments about HHH we've seen on this board in ages.
Right now I neither love nor hate the guy. Absolutely loved him pre-injury, and his feud with Austin was probably the best long term storyline we've seen in ages, but since coming back hes flitted between being really good and merely average. He desperately needs some new moves, particularly in the submission holds department (I assume we can discount the SLEEPER OF DOOM hold), and lately his promos have often lacked the energy and drive they used to have.
That said, he has been involved in some hellish shitty angles of late, and how anyone can suggest that he's booked himself into these fights/stories of late I'll never know. During his whole title reign, the monstrous 'Cerebral Assassin', the Heavyweight Champion of the world succeeded in beating 2 people without cheating or being assisted by Flair. Spike Dudley and Jeff Hardy. Wow, way to give a new title credibility eh?
All in all I'd say the guys definately main event caliber. Ideally I'd like to see him use this injury as an excuse to stay out of the way for a while and get himself up to the level he should be at with a couple new moves, and hoopefully the hunger he used to have. In a month or so once HBK's passed on the title Trips could come back and finish off the feud with him at Wrestlemania in Shawn swansong.
In the mean time if you must tell everyone how much you hate/love the guy, do it in the right threads and for the right reasons. Dont come on with the same tired rubbish about how he's a 'roid head that books himself into all the best angles cos he's bonin Stef. To the best of my knowledge nobody on this board has proof of either being the case. Equally dont be telling us he's the most over guy in RAW/the world and nobody else is worthy of his ring time, when theres clearly harder working guys worthy of a push.
I'm off back to my little fantasy world now where everyone respects each others views, and peace love and harmony reign.....

I don't normally go to tv show forums because the shows aren't on here until months later, but i have been to an Andromeda forum and basically it's the same as here. Kevin Sorbo (the star) is hogging the airtime and why does every other character have to talk about how great his character is and so on. He isn't accused of holding anyone down, but of course shows of that nature don't change stars normally, the way that wrestling does. Andromeda has been in a decline regarding both ratings and quality so maybe it's just disappointing shows that get this treatment.
Actually Rock called it a "belt", so in this case, Punk was scolding Rock. None of which invalidates CRZ's point, which I do completely agree with. When Punk did it, he did it very deliberately & consistently.
