As predicted, Riley got his man. According to ESPN, the Clips refused to match the offer sheet made by the Heat. Riles has been after this guy since before he was drafted. The Heat might have a nasty team if all of the pieces fit and Brian Grant remembers that he's getting paid to play basketball.

Yes, things are looking up for my Heat. Don't bash Brian Grant though, as he has been one of the best players on the team the past couple years, probably #2 to Caron Butler. He averaged a double-double last year and did as good a job as someone 6'9" playing center can do. What the Heat really need is a 6'10" or taller center who can play.... and our other free agent signing, Samaki Walker, is definitely NOT the answer.

For the Eastern Conference, all 5 starters are hard to argue against. As for the Western Conference, well, Yao Ming shouldn't have been voted in to begin with (I would replace Ming with Kevin Love). These would be my reserves for both conferences...
