I dunno if anyone noticed this (and I'm NOT about to read that 5 pages of posts in EP2) but they subtly explained why the Tuskeins were afraid of Obi-Wan in EP4 A New Hope. IN THE BEGINNING I'm talking about...ya rubes. When he first meets Luke. I always just figured they were scared of him cause he was a Jedi but that really didn't make sense. Anakin slaughtering a whole tribe as a Jedi does. Natch.
Unless one of them survived how would any of the other Tuskins know what killed the other tribe? Anakin wiped them out and dead [sand] men tell no tales. If any Tuskens found the camp before the various scavenger animals all they would find would be a mass of limbs. I'm going with the Krayt Dragon howl as the reason Obi scared them.
I'm a Cruiserweight, how do you lik... OH MY GOD I PUT ON WEIGHT!
The Krayt Dragon noise is correct. When Obi-Wan appears, you can hear a loud noise/howl. The Krayt Dragon is a huge lizard. In fact, on one of the sand dunes shortly after C3PO & R2 land on Tatooine, you can see a skeleton behind C3PO.
Matthew: You would've loved it, David. A week in a foreign country, strange people, strange customs... Dave: Oh, I know what you mean. I've been to Canada.

The sequel is actually titled "Black House", and yes, it is a wonderful book. I love how it is written in the present tense. Ain't It Cool's website is hard to access sometimes b/c of so much traffic and so little bandwidth.
