We might have a little time to kill on Sat & Sun, so can anybody suggest to a white boy from Wisconsin where to go for a good time...and come back alive?

Geez, you picked the one weekend I'm working BOTH Saturday and Sunday...but then, I'm not much of a sight. ;-)
It's supposed to rain all weekend, if that helps. I suppose if you're used to snow, temperatures in the 50s are probably a welcome experience!
If you're staying near the stadium, you're in luck! The Coliseum BART (bart.gov) stop is really close to the Net and the train is a cheap way to get all over the bay.

A's fans don't go to Raiders games. (NOBODY goes to Raiders games. I'll be lucky if there don't end up being more tix available than KGO and KXTV feel like paying for to make sure I CAN see the game! although now the San Jose Mercury says the way things stand, a blackout is unlikely (bayarea.com) )

Like CRZ said...very good. I went to an A's game and sat in the bleachers in full Boston regalia while the Sox slaughtered them two years ago, and barely recieved any disparaging comments. Just don't wear your green and gold. I was at the Chiefs-Raiders MNF game earlier in the season, and I'm glad I didn't wear either my Marcus Allen or Gonzo jerseys. I wouldn't have made it out of there fully clothed.
