| #1 Posted on 29.1.02 1809.20 | Funny, funny - I remembered the same thing when I thought about the nWo logo in the mirror during RAW.
What I want to know is: Who got that joke during the Warrior's last run in wCw? I never saw any mention of it on wrestleline or 1wrestling, etc.
Now you can debate whether or not it was the genius of Jim Hellwig or the Turner goofs that came up with the idea of "oWn", but I'd like to know the real story of -that- marketing idea.
If anyone knows where to get an oWn t-shirt to go with my original nWo B/W shirt, let me hear from ya!

I was wrong on assuming it would only be the oWn returning.. the nWo is returning too, so they can main event WM18 with Hogan vs. Warrior for the undisputed championship, after the nWo kills everyone who wasn't wrestling in the 80s not named Nash and Hall so they can get more TV time! | Stephanie

If you're joking, fine...but if you REALLY think that's going to happen, just don't even bother watching because I'm sure no matter what happens you won't allow yourself to enjoy it. | dskillz

On the plus side, you have to admit that the Warrior angle in WCW ended quickly, with hopefully a minimal amount of damage. The insanely stupid War Games match notwithstanding.

Amen.
Well - I wouldn't leave, but I wouldn't be happy. I wasn't around during Warrior's initial run, so what I have seen has been a complete and utter joke.
I can't imagine Warrior doing anything in the WWF today that could possibly work. Nothing. His character died following Hogan's departure from the federation in 1993 - and every attempt to bring him back has been worse than the last.
I really don't think we'll ever see him in any shape or form on WWF TV again.

Unfortunately, with the kid glasses off, Warrior/Hogan was a crock of shit.. but hey.. it was shorter than the misadventures of the Dungeon of Doom.. Fear the Yeti! | KilljoyTX

It was a crock because of Hogan's need to get his win over the Warrior from a prior WM, Hellwig's continued inability to communicate with the fans who have a 5th grade vocabulary (at least Benoit uses small words when he stumbles thru a promo), and the typical wCw shit-for-booking.
[I'm not saying that it could have been done better in the WWF; I think that the character could have been done better with better support from the writers and the wrestlers involved, bu that's not what this thread was about!]

| #12 Posted on 1.2.02 2118.40 | Um, hey, of course there would only be one member (the Warrior). I mean it was, afterall, called the ONE WARRIOR Nation.
But it would be funny to hear some more of the Warrior's promos. Those things were so out of left field. Or would that be "parts unknown"?
