Damn... we got a year off from the same old Scacia BS on April Fools day... apparently he's back to the same old, same old. And here I thought he was breaking away from the lame habits he picked up at Wrestleline...

I just got fooled at, where they said Goldberg was signing with the WWF. Of course near the end they also said Gretzky was coming out of retirement, then I realized what day it is.

Don't believe anything you hear, and only half of what you see.

LOL. That was entertaining. Especially the part about Benoit's gimmick. And i am glad to see the tradition back.

What kinda scared me some is how plausible the NWO story sounded. Since I really get the sense all the WWF wanted out of the NWO was the chance to bring Hogan back as a top tier player, and that they really don't know what to do with Nash and Hall.

I would love to see Benoit change his finisher to slicing a guy into many pieces with his claws though ;)

"I thought it was cool how HHH just tossed Jericho out of the ring and made him vanish, possibly into another dimension, at the end of the match." - Dr. Unlikely says the funniest thing I've ever read on Wienerville.

To me, that's the funny thing about the Rick's AF's day jokes. The first item sounds so plausible, and then they get progressively goofier as they go along. He got me good about 3 or 4 years ago with one, and that freaked me out so much I've always remembered to stay wary on April 1st when reading the web. I say it's harmless fun.

Call me crazy, but that whole "Tier I/Tier II" concept for the territories actually sounded like a pretty cool idea.

Funny, I was just at Book Expo America in DC and ECW Press was there. I declined to stop by their booth, though ... didn't look like they had any cool freebies. I did, however, run into Wink Martindale of Tic Tac Dough and get a photo.
