So...given that we currently have nothing (other than this forum) worth reading about wrestling tonight.

Have any of you decided to "bite the bullet" and give $10 Thunder a try? I know I'm going to...just to see if it's tolerable. The last one I tried was....better than a swift kick to the nuts, but that's about all it had going for it.

I'm not ready to try the NWA yet. I still can't see forking out $10 for a show I could see for free 18 months ago.

Low Ki vs. AJ Styles.
Elvises vs. Daniels & Skipper
Hall vs. Lawler

I'm watching!

I've seen them all anyway, but this one, more than all the rest, I'm really looking forward to.

I never thought I'd do it, but I think I'm going to give it a try tonight. I'm interested in seeing Low Ki, whom I have never witnessed in the ring. I figure I've spent $10 on stupider things. I could never see myself spending $10 bucks a week, though.

Is it live or a taped week? For some reason I always enjoy shows more when I know they are live.

Yes, indeed I can dig it, Sucker.

They are all live from here on out.

I recommend giving it a shot. In my experience I enjoy them more when I watch them from tape and fast forward any time that the skanksTNA Girls come on.

Russo is promising a surprise in the first 15 minutes that will make it worth the price alone.

I don't know if I buy it, but my interest is further peaked.

As I mentioned in a prior post, you can count me in: Hardcore Midgets are on the card! Don't ask me why so many love the midgets; just put it in the "Popular Guilty Pleasures" category. BTW, Guru Zim, will we be treated to an "Alternative Perspective" again this week?

I don't know. It took way longer than I expected it to last time, and I have to be up at 5 am tomorrow, so probably not.

If I can recap part of it while the show is live and get the rest later, I might do it. I about broke my VCR last time trying to decipher K-Kwik's mumbling though.

They're claiming a former NWA World Champion will be on hand to make a challenge to Shamrock...

Severn, Candido, Shinya Hashimoto, Corino(wasn't he already in NWA:TNA?), Mike Rapada, Sabu, Naoya Ogawa, Gary Steele, or Shane Douglas.

Douglas is the only one I can see being a "surprise", especially if he cuts a classic great interview. If it is him, and he does cut one, how much time until he does the first Flair cut? 2 minutes in?

A former NWA champion, eh? How about the Hands of Stone, Ronnie Garvin!!! Haha!!! Couldn't help it.
Knowing Russo, his surprise is probably one of the ladies losing a top. This seems to be about par for him.
