Who are all these guys:
Christian York & Joey Matthews (the names sound familiar, but I can't place 'em)

The Dupps (Same thing. I am positive I've seen these guys, though.)

Teo

Hollywood

Jorge Estrada

Sonny Siaki

Richard & Rod Johnson (isn't this Lenni & Lodi dressed up in dick outfits, or something?)

Prince Justice

Toby Keith (isn't he the Candian that sings about how much he loves America and hates terrorists, or something?)

Also, any predictions for the 6 or so other people in the Battle Royal? I'm wondering where Sabu is, and if Scott Steiner and Disco Inferno will show up.

Christian York, Joey Matthews, and the Dupps are former, at the time, WWF developmental talents. I think the Dupps were in ECW for a time, as well. Something about an ass-scratching gimmick comes to mind.

I can answer a few of your questions. The Dupps are a tag team that formerly had a WWF Developmental deal. You may have seen them in dark matches before Raw or Smackdown circa 2000. Teo and Hollywood are hardcore midgets. Teo was at a couple of WWA's shows. The Johnsons are dressed up as penises(the fact that I'm in some sort of situattion where I'd type something like that...), but aren't Lodi and Lenny. Lodi and Lenny are there and are supposed to be gayer than ever. They're the Shane Brothers, an indy tag team. Also, I don't believe Sabu or Disco have any afiliation with the NWA TNA and I'm positive Steiner doesn't(well, unless they signed him and haven't announced it yet).

I'll handle the first half:

The first four are alumni of OMEGA, the rinky-dink North Carolina fed best known for spawning Matt and Jeff Hardy. One of the Dupps (Jack Dupp, IIRC) was formerly known as Mike Maverick, and tagged with Shane "The Hurricane" Helms as the Serial Thrillaz. Get your hands on tapes of the Hardys vs. the STs, they're well worth the hunt. The other Dupp (Bo Dupp) was Otto Schwanz, and was big, beefy and... well, big and beefy. All four had a cup of coffee in ECW.

Teo is a psychotic midget, last seen battling Puppet the Psycho Dwarf in WWA.

You might recognize Toby Keith from the 10-220 commericals. It's too bad, I'd rather see Alf at NWA:TNA.

You might also remember York and Matthews from the last days of ECW, as tag team jobbers to teams like Whipwreck/Tajiri and the FBI.

Prince Justice is one big dude, and the only time I saw him was at the one MECW show in Philly I went to.

Oh and Lodi will not be tag teaming with Lenny Lane. Lodi is still injured and Lenny confirmed that he would have a new tag team partner (although I can't remember who he mentioned as his new partners).

Well York and Mathews were a tag team in ECW and had a few good matches on ECW Hardcore TV. They really had no one to feud with but they had some good matches with the tag team of Simon Diamond (lucky devil getting Dawn Marie) and Swinger.

I believe the Johnsons are the newest incarnation of the twin tag team that JUST WON'T DIE. Mercifully, the only gimmick I can think of that they used was Creative Control, back in the Russo era of WCW. They were also the Blu Twins in the WWF, or so I've heard... I don't remember that team. They've had a bunch more characters, many of which were more famous, but I finally managed to forget all of them.

re: Lenny & Lodi

Lodi has been replaced by Alan Funk (Kwee Wee during the last days of WCW), who will be called "Bruce." (source Meltzer) One question... wasn't he one of the guys picked up by Vince in the buyout? I know that the WWE has been letting the unused guys work indy shows, but are they going to let them go to the only real competition in town?

He was released, along with a ton of the Developmental talent in December.

I saw that as well, but does this mean that Lodi is under contract to them? And if so, what will the Funkster do when he comes back? Lodi is having neck surgery, or something, so he will probably be out for awhile, but suckas still gotsta know.

Da Meltz confirms that the Johnsons were the Shane brothers. I wondered at first if they were the Harrises/Creative Control/Blu Twins/whatever, too, but they weren't anywhere near as bad as the Harrises are. Thank goodness.

Well, I thought the dicks actually wrestled better than I thought they would (and if they had been the Harris twins).

Joey and Christian are very popular on the East Coast indy circuit. They work a lot for MCW in Baltimore, VCW in Virginia and promotion in North Carolina.

Toby Keith is definitely American. The story behind his appearance is that he wanted to perform his "Angry American" song on the ABC July 4th special, but it was nixed by Peter Jennings(a Canadian). So I believe the NWA said, "Hey, perform it here."

Hey, Zappa is usually dead on, but this time, as quoted here, he was dead wrong. The Romans, especially under the Republic, did nothing else BUT push the idea that they were the sane, decent, honest, godly people and everyone else was the equivalent of offal on their shoes.

Peter Jennings is Canadian?! I didn't know that.

Well, I guess that goes to show that Canadians really DO have better taste...

... And he was also one of the guys that interfered in the Goldberg/Nash match that ended Goldberg's win streak and title reign ruining the last thing WCW had going for itself.
