tomk is convinced it's Steve Armstrong - I wildly speculated that last week and was ready to stick with it, but this week I was thinking maybe it could have been Scott...since we never see them in the same place at the same time AND because it would make no sense given the backstage vignettes we'd seen earlier - remember, Russo logic MUST be satisfied!
Seeing as how there's no other logical reason they'd draw this out for more than a week...(WAIT! Before you jump on me for using the word "logic" with anything relating to Russo, hear me out!)...I'd have to believe they're waiting for Road Dogg to finish his house arrest and bring him in to be the masked man.
It just might be crazy enough to work, especially if they play on the former history between these two. Besides, Road Dogg's at least SOMEWHAT of a big name, so it should at least draw curiosity from the average fan.
"That's right! You suckas better FIND somewhere to run! 'cause it's me - Booker T - not only am I the Scorpion King, but I'm the five-time WCW Champion - and I got a sword, too! Now can U dig THAT - SUCKAAAAAS"
"Yo! Japanese people! What's the deal witchyo nasty hair? Just because you know kung fu (waaaaaa) doesn't mean you know sham poo...but that's all about to change, thanks to NEW...Yakamoshi shampoo! It won't make your hair look as good as mine (shakes head) but you gotta start somewhere!" -Booker T, Hollywood's next big superstar!
And that's the bottom line, because it's false! It's DAMN false!
Well Scott does make more sense, as Scott is still a pretty active wrestler and I haven't seen Steve on matchlists in forever. But Bullet looked like Steve, moved like Steve. Rippa said Steve, I said Steve.
That said I figure that is the last episode of TNA (despite Borash's latest report where he talks about them starting a TNA wrestling school!!!).
So the mystery of why Christopher attacked Jarret, the mystery of what Christopher was talking about in that long winded soliloquoy on the last show (CRZ needs to transcribe that because I'm convinced it ripped off large parts of "The Family Ties" Michael J Fox soliloquoy about his friends suicide), the mystery of who is under the bullet mask, etc: will all join the mystery of who attacked Stan Lane.

I was really hoping you'd go with "of who was attacking the Mangificant Seven!"
Well, knowing Russo's desire for the swerve, the Bullet will probably turn out to actually be Bob.
You're all so WONDERFUL. Why did they ever have to remove you from the continuity? You'd have made for MARVELOUS stories. You WILL make marvelous stories. And the FIRST story of the new world will be a story of REVENGE! -- The Psycho Pirate, Animal Man 23, May 1990.
cubsfan-- Just want to add that although I can't get CMLL around here without a dish--I think the format you've used here is a huge help with understanding the flow and organization of the matches. I'm still a bit lost, but the tables help tremendously....
