Taped 9/11/11 at the Showcase Theater in Hollywood CA.
Our show opens with Percival Pringle III entering the ring which is surrounded by most of the roster. Pringle gets on my bad side right away by sending the Lethal Ladies back to the locker room. Nikki is quite dejected and Thunderkitty is not happy about this at all. The alter-ego of Paul Bearer is here to scout "M-E-N" for the Pringle Dynasty on the quest for Championship Gold. The crowd is behind Disco Machine, Pretty Peter Avalon & Famous B but Pringle no sells them and calls out former Heritage Tag Team Champion and one half of the dissolved Natural Selection, Shaun Ricker. He asserts his aspirations to become the new NWA World Heavyweight Champion. This brings out the sharply dressed man himself, Scrap Iron Adam Pearce, with the legendary 10 lbs. of gold to run down Ricker and answer the challenge. Pringle begs off with the old "there is no match because there is no contract" excuse & the Dynasty get out of Dodge
The Family Stone are backstage to explain away Shawn Spears' absence and Stu lets us know that Big Nasty Eric Watts wants a shot at the Title.
Our announce team tonight is the pair of Todd Kenely & Johnny Loquasto .
Match # 1 Newcomer Mike Santiago is out and He has the unpleasant task of facing Cedric the Hitman. This is short and to the point with the Cedric putting the Hit on Santiago within a few minutes. No time to celebrate because here comes a Big Mack Attack! Willie's back and tells Marquez that He has unfinished business with Cedric to take care of.
TV Champion Scorpio Sky cuts a promo on Ray Rosas, they face off in tonight's Main Event.
Match # 2 Next we get Tag Team action as Mikey O'Shea & Timothy Thatcher (in Sergeant Pepper jacket) go up against the popular duo of Terex & Disco Machine. Terex & Callahan start things off. Disco comes in to take the heat until Terex gets the hot tag for the GIANT bodyslam on Mikey. Thatcher lures Terex into a chase and O'Shea hits a spinebuster on the dancing machine for the win.
Ray Rosas with a rebuttal for Scorpio's earlier arguments in favor of his keeping the TV Title.
Match # 3 America's greatest hero, the excellent Freddy Bravo, is here to wrestle the Disorder's Robbie Phoenix. Bravo is all about selling and his depth of character in the ring is always outstanding. They both have a solid grasp of psychology with Phoenix working the arms and Bravo going for the leg. Freddy pulls some trickery on the heel & our hero's mat skills win out as he wrenches in the ankle lock for the submission victory.
Match #4 It's time for our Main Event. TV Champion Scorpio Sky answers the challenge of the brash Ray Rosas. These two are absolutely great and put on a show that the major promotions need to pay attention to. A decent amount of time is devoted to this contest as both men fly around the ring going move for move. The end comes when Sky drives Ray's head straight into the ring off a snapmare. This was totally awesome!
On next weeks card: Former Chikara Tag Team Champions The Super Smash Brothers (Player Uno & Player Dos) vs. Leo Blaze & Kyle Webb; "Mirror Image" Ricky Mandel and "El Chido" Hector Canales face off; "Big Nasty" Eric Watts meets Jay Garland; New York Knockout Nikki wrestles The Fabulous Thunderkitty; Lucky O'Shea makes an appearance; In the Main Event, Rockness Monster Johnny Yuma challenges Adam Pearce for the NWA World Heavyweight Championship.
Cubber, I dunno if this actually applies to Heat. PWInsider's story says "Spike TV is shaking up its schedule starting May 3rd. WWE Velocity will now air at 7 pm EST and WWE Sunday will air at 10 am Sundays.
