I started a Vimeo for this episode, and then ten minutes later when I hadn't said anything, I stopped it and threw it away.
I'm kinda losing interest in this show. I can't help but think that something happened behind the scenes to change the product in some subtle way that I'm not quite picking up on, but that I'm definitely not enjoying as much. Could be that change in booker, I dunno.
I DO know that Candice LeRae should NEVER be allowed on commentary again, EVER.
I know Excalibur is a good friend of Joey Ryan but I just don't like his color commentary. James Morgan should still be doing color on this show.
I don't know what the on again, off again angle is with Stu Stone not being let into the building and I don't care.
Joey Ryan cut his hair and he looks just TERRRRRRRRRRRIBLE
As good as these Aries/Sky matches have been....MAYBE we didn't need a "best of 5" series between these two.
There's probably more I'm thinking of but not typing but...well, maybe there isn't.
KDOC has already pulled their Friday slot so they're only airing Saturday at 11PM now. In typical fashion, NWA Pro put out a press release (nwahollywood.com) saying how they couldn't be more delighted to only air once a week outside of prime time, which as we all know is complete bullshit if not totally hilarious. It DOES make one start to wonder just how long we'll continue to be gifted this weekly hour of wrestling, however.

If you can't put the fun in dysfunctional, it's probobaly time to put to pasture

| #3 Posted on 22.3.11 2327.20 | Well, I got my Danger-Buggy match, so I'm happy. I'm sure that was every bit as good as the Danger-Del Rey match at Pro Wrestling-SUN a couple days ago. Probably better, because Sara Del Rey isn't even in Buggy's league as a worker, and PWS certainly doesn't have Candace LeRae on color.
(For the sarcasm-impaired in the audience, the only part of the above paragraph that is true is that I watched the Danger-Buggy match.)
(OK, I suppose PWS doesn't have Candace LeRae on color, but that's a good thing. A very good thing. Before LeRae is ever allowed on the air again, she should be forced to listen to every Shimmer DVD that has Portia Perez doing color. Portia doing color on a Danger match is how you do heel commentary on your rival's match.)
(As I was typing this, Danger just tweeted me that she's going to be back for the April 10th taping "against some ninja person".)
(I just name-dropped Allison Danger. I'm going to be interviewing LeBron James and Dwyane Wade tomorrow, and I'm more impressed that I just got a tweet from Allison Danger. My life has gone askew.)
(I don't know why I'm still typing in parenthesis.)
Anyway, I like Buggy, and Danger could be entertaining against a broom, because she plays with the crowd. But this is building to a Buggy-LaRae match, which isn't exactly Rock-Cena.
I think this is where I admit I stopped watching after the Danger-Buggy match. Tired of Cabana and Pearce, tired of A-Double and Scorpio...

Damn. I just read the release on NWA Hollywood's website, and it is indeed Danger vs. Portia Perez.
I'll be curious as to how they handle this. It is billed as one of the major matches on the next set of tapings, so will they mention their long feud "back East"? There's a lot of ROH guys in NWA-H, but I don't remember any specific mentions of that history.

I am soooo going to be there. I'll have to leave work early and spend an astronomical amount of money I don't really have on gas to drive to L.A. but it will be worth it just to see Miss Frickin' Awesome as well as Buggy. The other women advertised are Candace LaRae and Davina Rose.The guys will mostly be the same roster of local workers and Colt is scheduled for a tag team match. 3+ hours of wrestling fun, I can't wait!!!
