I tried searching for "WWE" on ticketmaster.com, and the last thing that came up was "WWF Raw Is War" at the Staples Center in LA....on Wednesday, 12/31/03...at 12 AM! What the hell is that?!? Aside from the fact that the name of the show is wrong, and 12 AM on 12/31 is 24 hours *before* New Year's and it would be 12 AM Pacific time, it's still very weird. Could you imagine, though, if WWE put a live show on New Year's Eve?

Vince doesn't like working the weeks around X-Mas and New Years, so I'd doubt he'd do it. Besides, if he sacraficed a Monday the 30th time slot this past year, I highly doubt he'll go cross country for a Wed. night show this coming year. Unless he's really concerned about NWA-TNA, which is doubtful.

It's just a TM slug page with the default date as 12/31. They just use it as a placeholder template before they plug in the event details.

The WWE could put on 2 hours of Kevin Kelly sitting on the toilet reading a phone book, and I'd still watch next week.

Well I was in attendence and I have to say this was one of the more professionally done indy shows I've been to. They utilized the Ryan Center well, including using the video screens to run some very WWE-esque promos.
