I just caught the beginning of the S. Carolina - Kentucky game on ESPN and I saw what I think is one of the coolest entrances I've ever seen in football.
The South Carolina team comes to the edge of the field and they start playing Ric Flair's music (2001: A Space Odyssey, Also Sprouted Zucchini, whatever...). And the crowd goes batshit after every DA-DUH (you know which part). After it ends, the players rush the field.
Now I'm not a fan of Lou Holtz, but even I was pumped up after that. If I was an opposing player seeing that, I might've soiled myself. Sorry, just needed to share.
Any Gamecock fans or otherwise been there for that? Is it really as cool as I think or not?
I'm surprised they would put a west coast team in the London game, as you now are giving the Chargers a 6,000 mile trip to the game, and the bye week is the following week.
