For those who aren't impressed by the Rick Scaia April Fools Day humor, check out Pitchfork and imagine how scary that would have been to run into without warning. I almost threw my computer off my desk before I realized what day it was.
"You used it to shove your miserable daughter down our throats week in and week out...not anymore!" - Ric Flair gives me hope, Raw 3/18/02
"I thought it was cool how HHH just tossed Jericho out of the ring and made him vanish, possibly into another dimension, at the end of the match." - Dr. Unlikely says the funniest thing I've ever read on Wienerville.
Websites that do that sort of thing without an "APRIL FOOLS!" message at the bottom always trip me out. What if a site really DID have something out-of-the-norm to say today? How would you know? Do these sites usually let us in on the joke the next day or something?
Or maybe I'm just slow and I need everything spoon fed to me.
Our school paper today had an article about Hugh Hefner buying one of our campus buildings and renovating it into Playboy mansion II. It even had a picture of him and some Bunnies having a picnic on the Quad. It was pretty funny. But I think this Pitchfork site should have an April Fool's warning on the main page, at least.
