Calgary's Iginla did pick it up and brought The Campbell trophy (is that what it's called?) to his team as Tampa's Anderchuck took a quick picture with The Prince of Wales trophy and didn't even want to look at it.
I know that's done to make it seem like you are not settling for the conference trophy, but it's strange seeing they bring the trophy out, make a presentation and the winner of it ignores it. Especially considering this is Tampa's first conference title.
So I put my vote is showing the conference trophy some respect. Even though it's not the BIG CUP, smaller trophies have feelings too!

| #2 Posted on 3.6.04 1415.48 | Instant Rating: 5.12 | I like this idea, kinda in the same vein as how guys who play in the NHL but don't win a championship refuse to touch the Stanley Cup, even after retirement. Kinda adds to the mystique of the trophy, IMO.
