POSTED: 12:12 p.m. EDT May 1, 2003 on WSBTV.com MARIETTA GA.-- Cobb County police were investigating the death of a woman who sought medical treatment early Thursday and died shortly after being taken to the hospital.
The woman, who was not identified, was taken from the Cobb home owned by a former pro wrestler known as Lex Lugar.
Police spokesman Cpl. Brody Staud said the woman died at Kennestone Hospital but authorities did not yet know the cause of death.
At least one atlanta TV station is reporting that the woman in question is Ms. Elizabeth. I hope they are wrong, but that is what is being reported.
if "Washington is a Hollywood for ugly people," then, considering the remarks coming out of Tinseltown about Iraq, "Hollywood is a Washington for the simpleminded." John McCain "Iraq will not be defeated" in the war, Iraqie Ambassador Mohsen Khalil told a news conference in Egypt. "Iraq has now already achieved victory - apart from some technicalities."
I hope it's not her. I have lots of memories of her, especially those really sparkly dresses. Even in the NWO, she looked good. She didn't talk much, but that was okay. Here and Randy Savage were a good team. I didn't pay much attention (None, actually) to the whole Flair/Savage love triangle thing, but I did see the match at WMVIII. She figured in that thing prominently. If it's her, then I give my condolences, and remember that if it wasn't for her, maybe we would never have had the type of valet like a Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley.
Jeez, this is weird..... because I live about 2 miles from Lex, and I took karate and golf lessons with his son. He seemed like a nice guy on the golf course and driving range, and I remeber came to karate parties and entertained everyone. This sucks.....
Rorschach: "None of you understand. I'm not locked up in here with you. You're locked up in here with me."
Multiple sources have confirmed to 1Wrestling.com that the female involved in the incident at Lex Luger's home this morning was his longtime companion "Miss Elizabeth". Sources tell 1Wrestling.com that authorities responded early this morning to a 911 call placed by Luger (real name Larry Pfohl)and that Elizabeth (real name Elizabeth Hulette) was rushed to a local Cobb County hospital where she passed away.
Sources say Luger was taken into custody this morning, but it is not know whether any charges have been lodged against him at this time.
Local media in Atlanta is reporting that police responded to a domestic disturbance on Easter at Luger's residence. There is no indication at this time that the incident this morning involved violence.
Wow, this one is really weird. Miss Elizabeth was a wrestling fixture from the 80's right up until 1999. She provided for many classic moments. The cause of the MegaPowers splitting. Her tearful reunion with the Macho Man after his Retirement Match. The Ric Flair "She was mine before she was yours" angle. Also when Ric Flair brought her into WCW and rubbed it in Savage's face, saying she had half of Macho's fortune and Flair was spending it.
I hope WWE does some sort of tribute to her on an upcoming Confidential because she really was one of their most recognizable faces during her time there.

Here here on all points.
This one sure is a shocker. Sure makes the day feel crappy.
WIENER OF THE DAY! July 6, 2002!
Fear can sometimes be a useful emotion. For instance, let's say you're an astronaut on the moon and you fear that your partner has been turned into Dracula. The next time he goes out for the moon pieces, wham!, you just slam the door behind him and blast off. He might call you on the radio and say he's not Dracula, but you just say, "Think again, bat man."
I know she wasn't a actual wrestler but I view in the same that I view Savage,Hogan and so on. I grew up with her and thought she was the most beautiful woman in the world. And this is around the same time Davey Boy Smith died last year. So, I was thinking about him, so this just kinda compounds that.
Like fuelinjected said the need to Confidential peice on her because she was a part of the WWF past. And I hope this just a coincidence and Luger has nothing to do with her passing.
Miss Elizabeth was my first childhood crush. When I was seven years old, I'd have said she was the most beautiful woman in the world at the drop of a hat. I'm pretty much in shock right now.
I'm probably jumping to conclusions, but I'd bet this story hasn't hit bottom yet.
CHRISTIAN,n. 1. One who believes that the New Testament is a divinely inspired book admirably suited to the spiritual needs of his neighbor. 2. One who follows the teachings of Christ in so far as they are not inconsistent with a life of sin.
This really sucks. I can't believe she's gone so young.
I feel really bad for Luger, they've been seeing each-other for a few years now, and she dies in his house? Major suckage. My thoughts and prayers go out to Luger, Macho Man, and the family of Ms. Elizabeth.
I can't help but remember SummerSlam 88 when the MegaPowers (Hogan & Savage) took on the Megabucks (Dibiase & Andre) and Elizabeth "won" the match for her team by standing on the apron and taking off her skirt to reveal a bikini bottom. It stopped the opponents dead in their tracks and caused the announcers to have fits. Nowadays Torrie Wilson wears more daring outfits on a regular basis and three Superstars have since appeared in Playboy, but I guess Elizabeth paved the way.... She said a lot in her role as valet while barely speaking...she was practically a mute character, but important nonetheless. Fans LOVED her, it seemed as Randy got more heelish, she became more loved for putting up with him.
It seems "Who's Next?" should not be Goldberg's catchphrase, but a reference to wrestling personalities dying young. It happens WAY too often. Man... Rest in Peace, Elizabeth

Yup.

Yes ... sad, sad indeed ... I, too, was a youngster during the Macho Man/Elizabeth era and thought she was the most beautiful woman on television .. Miss Elizabeth set the standard for all wrestling divas and to me, she'll always be the "First Lady of Wrestling" ... R.I.P., Miss Elizabeth ...

I met Miss Elizabeth in Boston about 5 or 6 years ago when she was promoting a Nitro that was going to be in the Fleet Center. One of the nicest ladies you could ever meet and very easy to talk to you. Plus, even more beautiful in person. She blushed when I told her about the big crush I had on her when I was a kid. She blushed even more when I told her I had an even bigger crush on her after meeting her.
I'm not telling you anything you don't already know.
