This post has a point. Not only will this spoiler proably come true, but am I the only one sick and tired of Torrie Wilson and her being unbeatable? People talk aout HHH winning too much but she is the worst. Her character is STALE! She is basically a slut that is always sucking on something and has slept with half the roster (storyline wise).
So my question to you.....What would you do to re-invent Torrie?
BTW: Dawn is SO much hotter!

But anyway, to answer the question at hand. I would re-invent Torrie by going with a tasteless angle that Vince has never used. I would have her undergo a sex-change operation. She could then become the first WWE superstar in history to pose in both Playboy *and* Playgirl.
The sad thing is, that's the only booking idea I have for Torrie Wilson, and I'm the one who honestly believed he could have booked Funaki to believably win the World Championship from HHH in less than 6 weeks. | Lexus

If you don't appreciate Torrie for what she is (a pro-wrestling sex icon), then you have another that you'd prefer.
(Dawn Marie, it should be noted, has done absotively posilutely zilch storyline wise since old man Wilson keeled over. However, rather than postulate about how she doesn't do anything storyline wise, you say she's hot. I take it this is your preferred WWE sex icon.)
Same goes to everybody who'll complain that Molly doesn't get enough screen time while Ivory does jack (and to give the Molly marks the benefit of the doubt, we'll consider them equals in ring performance).

Sooo..... does Torrie have charisma, or doesn't she? I've seen both sides of the argument with some people saying she's the women's Hulk Hogan, and others say she's the black hole of charimsa.
I don't think the Hulk Hogan reference is all that accurate either. Torrie's not World's champion 5 times over, I don't even know if you can call her a wrestler and include her in the women's wrestling group to begin with. I don't know how rich she is, and I'm not sure if she's even the most popular Diva they've got (she's just the only current one to say "yes" to Playboy). Trish also never had to work her way up or anything to get past Torrie. When Trish walked down the aisle for the first time and stared at Test wrestling and then walked away, she had reached Torrie's current level of achievement. Trish is lightyears ahead of Torrie on the WWE Diva's pecking order now.
I'm sure Molly and Victoria could have done roughly the same had they chosen to do nothing with their wrestling career and just take the easy money.

I think this is the role in which she could be used best. I personally think that Torrie Wilson and women like her can be very good for wrestling. I have nothing to base this on other than my own hunch and what I've seen at dozens of live WWE events, but I think most of the viewership likes having women on the screen, be it as wrestlers or managers. As long as they don't get involved in shitty Al Wilson/Steph-n-Vince storylines, they are a plus. I'm not going to say Torrie is unattractive. But I always found her to be the least sexiest sexpot in wrestling. I always found her kind of cardboard like out there. She's done some over the top sex stuff on camera and there are girls who do a lot less then her that catches my eye more. When she was with Dawn, I thought Dawn just totally overshadowed her, and when she was her storyline with Sable, even though I don't find Sable that attractive I think Sable outshined her with the able to "work it" (whatever that means LoL)... While I'm on this, even her photoshoots are boring, I can't believe she was a fitness model, she has the same expression and feel to all her photos.
Not a fan of Torrie as a performer at all. Her angles with women usually suck (especially for her opponent). Look at Dawn. then take a pictures because you won't see her for another 2 months and Sable did a short feud with Torrie and quickly moved to a feud with Stephanie. Torrie and a guy never seems to mix well either. I think the Noble character is much better with Nidia. Dawn & Lance was fantastic, I still can't believe they never added Dawn to the FBI to make her the Marisa Tomie of My Cousin Vinny for the group... Even on the Raw side, Molly/Spike was wonderful, Trish/Bubba female/male buddy relationship was cool. Ivory added alot to RTC. I just can't recall Torrie adding to someone, either male she's partnering with or female she's feuding with.

Other Divas (Sable, Dawn Marie) could try to seduce Billy in order to get revenge on her always winning Bikini challenges, and she could model Billy Kidman merchandise (Wait, there's BILLY KIDMAN merchandise?) as part of a vague storyline that implies that Billy is helping her hone her wrestling ability. |
