I wanted to get some insight from some California people as to any smatterings of news in reagrds to the future of Norm Chow.
One of the hot "rumors" that has been running rampant here in Nashville is that Titans head coach Jeff Fisher is going to make a play for Chow as the Offensive Coordinator for the organization, replacing Mike Heimerdinger, who took the OC job with the J-E-T-S.
Anybody in the Golden State know if Chow is giving any consideration to this? It would be a chance for him to get to the next level and plus Fisher is a USC alum, so I'm wondering what kinda pull that might have.
They were reporting on sports radio 950 here (in Seattle) yesterday that Chow's already OUT, and that Lane Kiffin and Steve Sarkisian will be co-offensive coordinators. They didn't really elaborate on why except to speculate that Chow and Carroll had fallen out.
EDIT: I din't see anything else about it but there's a Chow-to-Titans? story on ESPN.com right now.

In the ESPN.com article about Chow's hiring it said the Titans are $21 million over the cap! How are they going to deal with that? Isn't that how the Niners got themselves in the situation they're in now?

Yeah, that's frightening ... I look for a few of our big names to be playing in new uniforms next year, namely Derrick Mason & Samari Rolle.
