And if you're ever there, I highly recommend the Queen of Sheba (2413 NE Martin Luther King Blvd.) for some excellent Ethiopian food. Just delicious, as Ethiopian is the only food that might be able to surpass Mexican as my favorite international cuisine. It's close, at least. And despite my lethargy from traveling (the details of which I won't go into), this is one of the stronger shows I've put together (musically speaking, that is...) Yeah, they are pretty great. I'm kind of embarrassed by the fact that I only discovered them a couple of years ago. There's rumors of a new album in the works. If you haven't already, you should really check out Broken Social Scene, to which Metric is loosely connected - although BSS has an *entirely* different sound. (edited by Leroy on 30.7.08 1220)

Sweet review. For the record, Skratch Bastid co-produced Buck's latest album and was pretty much the biggest name in DJs in Halifax (and much of Canada) for the last few years. Mind, we in Hal-town all got sick of, "Skratch Bastid: FINAL SHOW!!
