Much as I love "Oedipus Rex" (I've even been known to sing it for my students from time to time), "We Will All Go Together When We Go" would have fit the theme better.

You're right... but as much as I am a huge Lehrer fan - that's one of my least favorite songs by him. I think So long, mom (a song for world war III) is a much better song that handles the same topic.
