There was a thread a few days back that mentioned referrals to a W's profile and I had none, so I changed my bio text to "Come see nude photos of Torrie Wilson and Sable together in Playboy.", since every third search has a variation on that theme. I didn't get any referrals for the month or so I had this in my bio, so I changed it to say "Changing the text here won't get you referrals."
HOWEVER, I've gotten 6 referrals in te last few days, after I changed my bio text. Plus I got this e-mail:
-----Original Message----- From: (Name withheld) [mailto:email@example.com] Sent: Wednesday, April 21, 2004 10:33 AM To: JayJayDean@comcast.net Subject: Torrie Wilson nude photos
Can you send some nude photos of Torrie Wilson, please?
Anyone know why I'd suddenly start getting referrals AFTER I changed the text?

There is some lag between the time a search engine crawls/recrawls and it shows up in listings. Google's is pretty short these days, which is why you're already gone from their listings. Dogpile seems to have a longer lag, as you're still listed there.
Google cached my profile on 6.4.04, but it still thinks I have that clit pic in my sig that I stopped using over a year ago. I have like 1400+ referrals to my profile now, sadly. The referrals that confuse me are the "where+is+my+clitoris?" ones.
Yep, I believe you've gotten a referal from every country on the planet.
HHH: You two had better stop your ambiguiously gay excersions before I kick you happy asses out of Evolution, damn it! (H yelling at Ric & Randy from 'God Knows', http://www.fanfiction.net/.) ~~*~~*~~ Be good, Vince. Don't be dumb.
Yeah, right. Hammered.com is SO valuable according to that site that I should contact a salesperson. GreatDomains.com won't list Hammered.com, even though it meets all of their short list criteria (.com, word, no hyphens). Eh.
