6 matches announced and one of them is an man vs. woman blindfold match. The guys on top better really deliver to forget the real uninteresting undercard IMO.
*WWE Title Match -Lesner(c) vs. Eddie PICK: EDDIE GUERRERO -- I think this is going to be Eddie's night. All the elements are there with Goldberg at ringside setting Brock/Goldberg and with the setting up of the #1 contendership match looks like more of a set up for Eddie as champ
*WWE Cruiserweight Title Match -Mysterio(c) vs. Chavo PICK: CHAVO GUERRERO JR. -- Maybe I should say it will be a Guerrero night. Chavo looks like he's getting some good heat and building him up very well. He might take this
*WWE Tag Team Titles Match, (3 on 2) -Rikishi/Scotty(c) vs. Basham's/Shaniqua PICK: BASHAM BROTHERS & SHANIQUA -- I think they are setting up some wacky 3-team tag team champions ala Demolishion with the Bashams and Shaniqua. Which will make the tag division look look even more pointless.
*#1 Contender's Match for the WWE title for WM. -Cena vs. Angle vs. BigShow PICK: KURT ANGLE -- Yup I see Angle/Eddie WM WWE title match. I picked up the clues from day one when Eddie returned and keeping Eddie out of the RoyalRumble by stirring it up with his nephew. The attack on Eddie at the SD version of the RoyalRumble. This was really quietly building up nicely.
*Noble Blindfolded Match -Nidia vs. Noble PICK: NIDIA -- Why not.
-APA vs. World's Greatest Tagteam PICK: WORLD'S GREATEST TAG TEAM -- The tag division is a horrible state and nothing really is being build or making sense so when in doubt pick the team that lost it's last TV match for the PPV build. Wait this was build?
*There's your card. Seeing there's only six matches and one of them being a damn blindfold match There might be a Bob Holly vs. Rhyno, NO DQ match. If there is I'll pick Bob Holly... Brock/Eddie should be very good. #1 Contendership match has potential and the cruiserweight match has had a nice build and could be a major match on this really lackluster card. Wow this undercard is going to suck and bore a plenty.
smark/net attack wienerville advisory is lowered to YELLOW alert - Elevated (Due to Lesner still being champ, Benoit winning the Rumble, but HHH as champ is still a threat) 1/27
Get your WWE CD copy autographed by Stone Cold Steve Austin, Chris Jericho, Trish Stratus and Lilian Garcia after Raw... Oh MY! Christmas has come late. Can't get better then that.
Eddy Guerrero over Brock Lesnar Kurt Angle over John Cena and Big Show Chavo Guerrero over Rey Mysterio Scotty 2 Hotty and Rikishi over Bashams and Shaniqua Jamie Noble over Nidia World's Greatest Tag Team over APA
Note: There has to be *something else* here, no? Even if its something formally reintroducing The Undertaker (without him showing up live), there's NO WAY these six matches can eat up more than two hours....
Guerrero My guess was gonna be Mysterio, but after last night, I'll say Chavo Bashams Angle Noble (if it weren't for the Jaime blindfold stipulation, I would say Nidia) WGTT
When was the Wrold's greatest tag team and apa match added? it's not even on the no way out site. but if this match is added, i would love to see twgtt go over and retake their belts at mania.
(edited by Staplegun on 13.2.04 1216) I can’t pretend this is the way it’ll stay I’m just trying to bend the truth

They announced it last night on Smackdown right before the Bradshaw vs. Shelton Benjamin match.
oh alright, thanks, i can't watch smackdown when it comes on, much like raw now since i work nights. i watch the tape when i get home (sometimes) and i just skim through. my best bet would be a match between hardcore and rhyno, or matt morgan having a match??? thanks again

Outside the top match and the cruiser match, not much interesting on this card.
Eddie vs. Brock: I'm almost scared to pick Eddie because it is so obvious he is going over here. The only real question in doubt is how strong they allow Eddie to go over, or if he gets a weak victory after interference. Winner and new WWF/E Champion of the World Eddie Guerrero. Gee, that looks nice.
Angle vs. Cena vs. Giant: Yet again Paul Wight around the World Title picture in the months leading up to Mania. He must have had that put in his contract when he jumped from WCW. Unless Russo is rehired in the next 48 hours for wacky booking tips, Angle wins. Winner: Kurt Angle.
Chavo vs. Mysterio: If they give this match time to develop, should be a very good match. Chavo goes over after Rey's boxer friend punches him out. Winner: Chavo.
Now, the crap begins.
Benjamin/Haas vs. APA: Benjamin and Haas seem lost without being part of Team Angle. Don't care about the APA. Winners: Benjamin/Haas.
Nidia vs. Noble: Match 1 in the Justification of Tough Enough. Don't care at all. Billy Gunn interferes, but since its in San Francisco its to aid Jamie Noble and tell him how much he loves him from their 4-sum. Winner: Jamie Noble.
Bashams and Linda Miles vs. Rikishi/Scott Taylor: Don't care. Tough Enough Bunch member gets the pin and becomes tag champs, and comparisons to Judy Bagwell begin within moments. Winners: Basham Bunch.
If added, Rhyno beats Sparky Plugg, just do to my hoping Sparky never wins another match.
Originally posted by geemoneyEddie v.s Lesnar, World Title: We'll say Guerrero, setting up Guerrero v.s Angle for the belt and Goldberg v.s Lesnar at WM.
Rey Mysterio v.s Chavo, C'weight Title: Chavo, but Rey gets the last laugh.
Angle v.s Cena v.s Show, US Title: I'll take Cena.
The Cena match is for the #1 contenders spot at Mania, not the US Title. Thus, if you have Cena winning, you'd have Cena on the road to face Eddie at Mania.

Okay, my quick thoughts are Eddy beats Brock Chavo Jr. beats Rey Jr. AssWorm beats Bashams & Shaniqua Angle over Cena and Show The WGTT beat the APA Noble goes over Nidia because, I don't know Nikita from OVW makes her debut and interferes Holly and Rhyno have a backstage brawl The Heat match will be Akio & Sakoda over Funaki and Ultimo, thanks to Tajiri's interference in the Battle of the Rising Sun!

Well, here goes another Smackdown PPV that looks bad on paper, but has the potential to deliver some good stuff.
WWE Championship - WWE Champion and Mexican Salsa Champion Brock Lesnar vs Eddie Guerrero Match of the year candidate right here. I expect no less from these two. Somehow, I think that Vince will want to punish the IWC for the leaked info on Eddie winning the belt, so I sense a SWERVE! Brock retains after interference from Los Chavos. Goldberg runs in AFTER the fact to set up the WMXX blowoff. Prediction: Brock
#1 Contenders Match - Kurt Angle vs John Cena vs Big Show This could potentially steal the show. Show and Cena work better in 3-way matches and Kurt can hold everyone's hand here. Look for this to be a lot of fun with solid work from all involved. Cena takes a hard-fought match, but his title shot waits until Backlash. Prediction: John Cena
Tag Title Match - Rikishi & Scotty 2 Hotty vs The Bashams & Shaniqua The addition of Shaniqua makes this a comedy match (as if Scotty's involvement didn't imply that already). Rikishi and Scotty retain after a (hopefully) short match. Prediction: Rikishi & Scotty
APA vs TSPWGTT - May the Best Acronym Win Match APA no-sells a whole lot of stuff. Haas & Benjamin CHEAT TO WIN~! and move on to face Rikishi and Scotty at WMXX. Prediction: The Self-Proclaimed World's...ehh... Haas and Benjamin
Cruiserweight Title - Rey Mysterio (with Jorge Paez) vs Chavo Guerrero (with Chavo Guerrero) These two gave us a pretty good show at one of the final WCW PPVs. Chavo lives up to his family tradition and CHEATS TO WIN~! while Paez is busy knocking Chavo Sr. into the next zip code. Chavo then becomes a target for a shitload of cruiserweights for WMXX. Prediction: Chavo
Nidia vs Blindfolded Jamie Noble Uh... Prediction: The real winners ARE THE FANS!!!
This obviously won't be a classic PPV. But it won't be the abomination people are making it out to be. I still say Brock/Eddie, the 3-way, and the CW title match are worth the price of admission.
Edge: So it shouldn't be long before I come back, since Smackdown's gonna need another main eventer. Funaki: There's always Bob Holly. Edge: HAHAHAHAHAHA!! What? You're serious? DUDE! How long have I been out???
Brock vs Eddie (WWE Championship)- Either Eddie wins with help from Goldberg, or Brock wins with botched interference from Angle.
Angle vs Cena vs Big Show (#1 Contender)- Angle is the obvious choice here, but maybe have Cena win but Big Show attack him after the match and Cena can give up his title shot for a shot at Big Show.
Rey vs Chavo (Cruserweight Championship)- Either Chavo wins by cheating in some way. Or Rey wins out of nowhere. I'm kinda hoping for a rematch between these two at Wrestlemania.
Too Cool 2K4 vs Bashams & Shaniqua (WWE Tag Team Championship)- The Basham's win and either face WGTT at Wrestlemania, or they lose the belts before Wrestlemania and the WGTT fight The Dudley's.
WGTT vs APA- Why is this match on the card? I thought Farooq was injured? Whatever, if WGTT doesn't win I'll be very ungappy.
Nidia vs Jamie Noble(Blindfold Match)- Oh god I don't care I just hope it's short, maybe Jamie will bring in Nunzio and the FBI in for help. Seriously though, who cares?
This card looks pretty bad except for the world and cruserweight title matches, and the number 1 contender matches. Also if Holly vs Rhyno does happen I hope Holly tries to play the role of tough guy against Rhyno and Rhyno pounds the piss out of him. Now I don't wish ever for a wrestler to get hurt but Bob Holly annoyes the hell out of me.
WWE Championship (Smackdown) - Brock Lesnar (c) vs. Eddie Guerrero Rage's preference - I'm still pissed that we won't see Brock-Benoit at WM XX. I'd be happy to see either man walk out as champ. What will probably happen - Eddie wins over Brock to set up Lesnar-Goldberg at WM XX. This leads to the question of Eddie's opponent in WM XX, which is handled in:
#1 Contenders' Match - Big Show vs. John Cena vs. Kurt Angle Rage's preference - I'm still flashing back to that insane pop John Cena got upon entering the Royal Rumble last month. I wonder if the WWE took notice and is ready to finally put a rocket up Cena's ass. And remember, not totally unlike Cena's situation, Randy Savage was only supposed to win the IC Title by WM IV, but he ended up with the World Title instead. What will probably happen - Due to Angle's involvement with La Guerra de Los Guererros, Angle wins to set up Eddie-Angle at WM. Besides, Angle's the proven main eventer at this point.
WWE Cruiserweight Title Match - Rey Mysterio vs. Chavo Guerrero Rage's preference - Rey wins clean. What will probably happen - A lot seem to think that Chavo will go over here. So what's the point of having this, ahem, "big name" boxer in Rey's corner, then, if Rey's gonna lose?
WWE World Tag Team Title Match (Smackdown) - Scotty 2 Hotty / Rikishi 2 Fatty vs. Basham Broz. and Lin, er, Shaniqua Rage's preference - Come on, good god, anyone but the fucking Bashams at this point - and that might just include Judy Bagwell. Of course, this means that... What will probably happen - Bashams win the titles back. AAAARRRRRGGGGGGHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!
WWE World Tag Team Title #1 Contenders' Match (Smackdown) (?) - APA vs. WGTT Rage's preference - WGTT, baby! What will probably happen - I'm afraid the WWE goes with the old hosses in the APA.
"Handicap" Blindfold Match - Jamie Noble vs. Nidia Rage's preference - Nidia, 'coz she's foxy. What will probably happen - Jamie Noble wins this one.

WWE & SmackDown present No Way Out The World's Greatest Tag Team beat The A.P.A. Jamie Noble beats Nidia Chavo Guerrero Jr. beats Rey Misterio Jr to win the WWE Cruiserweight Championship The Basham Brothers & Shaniqua beat Rikishi & Scotty 2 Hotty to win the WWE Tag Team Championship Kurt Angle beats John Cena & The Big Show to become #1 Contender for the WWE Championship Eddie Guerrero beats Brock Lesnar to win the WWE Championship
FLAMES: 29-20-5-3 for 66 points LAST YEAR: 29-36-13-4 for 75 points PACE: 42-30-7-4 for 95 points
I suppose I should be laying this out in my preline, but I really do not have the inclination to re-Acrobat-ize the whole thing again.
WWE Championship match: Eddie Guerrero over Brock Lesnar
WWE Tag Championship match: Basham Brothers and Shaniqua over Rikishi and Scotty 2 Hotty
WWE Cruiserweight Championship match: Rey Mysterio over Chavo Guerrero
Triple Threat for #1 Contender's Slot (WWE Championship WM-XX): Kurt Angle over Big Show and John Cena
Intergender with Blindfold provision: Nidia over Jamie Noble
Tag Match (Is there an attached stipulation I am not aware of): Self-Proclaimed World's Greatest Tag Team over A.P.A.
I know what you're thinking. Did I fire seven shots or six? Well to tell you the truth in all of this confusion I've sorta forgotten myself, so you have to ask yourself one question. Do you feel lucky? Well, do ya, punk? -Whose Line is it Anyway: Scenes From a Hat (Ryan Stiles as Carol Channing).
Does anyone else think this card looks a little small? Its only 6 matches and one is a blindfold match that will be like 5 minutes. Are they going to be running some big angle or something? It seems to me like theyre going to have a lot of extra time.

WWE Championship - Brock Lesnar (c) vs. Eddie Guerrero With only six matches on the card, it looks like they'll be giving Lesnar and Eddie a lot of time to work with. A half an hour match could be a possibility, and that gives them plenty of time to work in interference from Goldberg... maybe even some interference from whoever wins the #1 Contenders' match. This definitely has Match of the Year potential... the only problem I see with it is how they book Eddie strong, since Goldberg's interference looks to be nothing short of definite. Eddie pins Lesnar after a frog splash and Goldberg interference at ~30:00
#1 Contenders' Match - Big Show vs. John Cena vs. Kurt Angle Again, this one will have a lot of time to work with, and that may not be a good thing. Angle will have to carry the match, because Show is going to really be protected in a match like this, and Cena is still raw. I think that this has the potential to be good, but it also has the potential to be a clusterfuck, especially if there's too much stalling. Angle pins Show with the Angle Slam at ~25:00
WWE Cruiserweight Title Match - Rey Mysterio (c) vs. Chavo Guerrero Should be another good long match. There should be several spots incorporated into the match of Chavo trying to rip Rey's mask off, as well as Chavo Sr. and Paez interfering with both the participants and each other. That outside entertainment combined with the in-ring activities should make for another possible MoTY candidate. With the WWE possibly going with some sort of CW Battle Royal at Wrestlemania, Chavo winning the belt here would provide some sort of intrigue for that... they could set up something like all of the cruiserweights hating Chavo and gunning for his belt, or something like that. Whatever. Chavo pins Rey after Chavo Sr./Paez interference at ~25:00
Faarooq and Bradshaw vs. Haas and Benjamin The WGGT are worth watching, but the APA are living on an outdated gimmick and bad inring skills. There's no good reason why the WGGT shouldn't go over here, especially since this has no buildup, and Bradshaw pinned Shelton on Smackdown... these two teams will likely be involved in some sort of Tag Team Turmoil match at Wrestlemania for the SD Tag Titles, and I really hope that they're booking WGGT for the victory there. Benjamin pins Faarooq with the superkick at ~15:00
WWE Tag Team Championship Match - Rikishi and Scotty 2 Hotty (c) vs. Bashams and Shaniqua Seeing as how they just showed the same match on free TV a few weeks ago, I don't know why I should be interested in this. Both of these teams really need new looks or something, because they are really stale. Anyways, Shaniqua will likely get the win (since her involvement in this is useless if that didn't happen), and they'll play up something about who should be the champion heading into WM. Shaniqua's being built up as Chyna 2K4, and I don't know if it works with somebody like the Bashams. Shaniqua pins Rikishi after some sort of Basham cheating at ~10:00
Blindfold Match - Jamie Noble vs. Nidia A comedy match on PPV? Brilliant! Noble's career gets destroyed if he loses to a woman non-wrestler on PPV... but since it's the WWE, I'm not sure if they're that stupid or not. Noble could be this year's version of the 1999 woman-beating Jeff Jarrett, which would actually be interesting and would get good heat for Noble. Noble pins Nidia with something at ~6:00
Total match Time: 1 hour and 51 minutes, leaving plenty of time for highlight packages, interviews, advertisements, a "bonus" match, etc. that they want to plug in. They could run some sort of angle after the title match with Goldberg and Lesnar, too.
I can't believe that so many of you are picking Eddie here. I like positive thinking as much as the next guy, but I would be willing to bet my life savings on Brock going over. Anyways:
Brock over Eddie Angle over Show and Cena Chavo over Rey Nidia over Noble APA over WGTT Basham over Rikishi/Scotty
Damn you WWE for making me change my sig. I'm sure you have good enough reasons to get rid of Shannon, but that doesn't mean I have to like it. Let me thus be the first to say: BRING BACK DAFFNEY!
Guys, I really love Billie Kay's ring attire. I'd love it even more if it were some type of faux leather and not velour. No Way Jose being a fun party guy that has a hot temper and totally loses his shit is something I want to see more of.
