Nod. I sometimes suspect the WWF from turning the crowd down.
At the 2k Rumble, you can hardly hear the 'we want Taz' chant when Kurt is cutting his promo.
In the arena it drowned out anything you tried to yell into your neighbors' ear.

The last PPV I went to was Chi-Town Rumble....MMMmm Steamboat/Flair. Hard to top that. But then again I was only 13 or so at the time. Taking a trip up to Milwaukee. I do have some casual friends that are thinking about going. I think I'm gonna help them make up their minds, and I'm going too.

Edit: oops I lied, I went to the WWF PPV where they had the Buried Alive match with Undertaker, and they super-imposed the lightning bolt on his hand, forgot about that one

The only live show I've ever been to was No Way Out 2000. It was pretty much a one match show (Triple H vs Cactus Jack, which wasn't even made a Hell In The Cell match when I bought tickets) but the atmosphere at the show was absolutely incredible. And the image of Mick Foley falling through the cage, through the ring will be forever etched in my mind. I would have hated myself forever if I had passed up the chance to go to the show.

I've been to a few televised shows in the past 6 years or so, and without a doubt I was present at perhaps the most memorable television show of ALLLLL TIIIIIIIMMMMMMMMEEEE!

WCW Thunder in Syracuse, New York

where Mr. David Arquette won the title that Jericho now has over his right shoulder.

1st row seats for that wonderful show! /sarcasm

CRZ even included me in his recap at the end!

Damn, Dirk... that's what I was gonna say! (I was there, too- did you stick around for all the fights outside the War Memorial?) Oh well... too bad Shaw won't let the WWF hold WM at the Carrier Dome.

WCW live aside, you can't beat WWF live. I made a WWF Week out of KotR 2000 in Boston, RAW in Worcester, SD! in Hartford and Mick Foley's book signing at Six Flags New England: "Best week ever."

(My girlfriend was in position to get me tix for HHH's return for Christmas. Instead she bought me clothes and a DVD. We broke up.)

Well, even though the thread was about going to the PPV, the response did help to convince me to get tickets for the RAW the night after the PPV in Chicago. I hope I don't regret $50 and skipping out on college for it, but hopefully that night will be the first actual appearance of the NWO on tv.
As an aside, I used to go to every WWF, NWA, WCW, or ECW card here for about a 10-15 year stretch. But then I got kind of cheap and annoyed with how goofy the fanbase at WWF cards was getting. And out of spite I didn't buy in with a group of friends when they bought tix for the Raw which turned out to be the WWF debut of Chris Jericho. I still have the footprints on my ass from kicking myself for that error in judgment.

There, I feel better now.

I just got back from tonight's ROH show in Northeast Philly, and I have to say that it was probably my favorite live ROH show so far (I've only been to about 5 or 6 though).
