They didn't announce this last night and there's no GOOD reason (reruns, Deathmatch) but you don't get the "South Africa Part 2/Someone Gets Cut" epsiode till 5/16.

(Maybe it's MTV's birthday gift to ME, a week off from recapping one show AND it's the easily fastfowardable pre-PPV Heat on the day itself - it's nice they care.)

If they're going with 13 episodes this year (as they did last year), there are only three episodes left, and the finale will be on 05/30 - presuming no other pre-emptions.

The music awards are scheduled for the following Thursday, so if there are more episodes this season, it'll push the finale into mid-June.

So that means that someone is going to be cut on each of the next two episodes. And the finale will be like last year's, a hour with the first part being the last few days training, and the second part where they announce the winners at WWF New York.

You're assuming that five is the WWF's magic number - I think it just turned out that way because there was no one who deserved to be cut at that point.

They could say six people are that good this year...or four, cutting multiple people on a show between now and then.

Five's a safe bet, but I wouldn't be totally sure of it yet.

They are doing 13 episodes, their episode guide (on wwftoughenough.com) has it as episodes 1-12, and a "final episode".

All in all, you're not a very nice person. Despite this,
people tend to like you. Maybe it's because you're a rebel,
or maybe it's just because you scare them into liking you. Or maybe it's because if an angle sucks, you take your toys and go home. Either way, you're still a beer-drinking badass from Victoria, Texas.

the key question is "who will be cut next?" I personally think it will be pete ( he seems fairly worthless, plus his tension with Jackie will be an of camera factor as they will hold out on cutting her for marketability purposes) or Hawk ( because he's just not getting it.) Kenny will end up being cut soon as well as he is equally a non character ( which is more important than being a good "wrestler.")

Hawk, even though he's the most entertaining of the remaining contestants.
For the women, I guess Anni will be cut.

They have 4 guys and 3 girls, so gotta figure it'll probably be a guy.

I think I'd be surpised if it was Hawk - they've built so much story around him, it'd be odd for him to go down before the end. I know that's not how the really decide things, but I just can't see it happening yet.

Jake looks the part so unless he gets hurt or gets in to trouble, he'll probably stick around.

Pete and Kenny are really the same person - undersized normal people who don't have much going for them except work ethic (as far as we've seen.) Pete's the one I like less, so I think he'll go.

spring 95 when shawn vs Bret really started to grow into a Main Event issue and then culminates at wrestlemania 12 in the Iron Man. That Feud and the later the Hart/Austin feud really hooked me for good.
